This morning, Tracee Ellis Ross and Leslie Jordan announced the nominations for the 2022 Academy Awards, which will be held this year on March 27th! Nominees includes Andrew Garfield, Ariana DeBose, Jessie Buckley, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Judi Dench, Steven Spielberg, Nicole Kidman, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Denzel Washington, and more.

Joining Gary Oldman in the new original series is a decorated ensemble cast including Academy Award-nominee Kristin Scott Thomas (“Darkest Hour”), Academy Award-nominee Jonathan Pryce (“The Two Popes”), BAFTA Scotland Award-winner Jack Lowden (“Dunkirk”), and Olivia Cooke (“Sound of Metal”). 

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts have announced the nominees for the 2022 BAFTA Film Awards. West Side Story scored five nominations, including nods for Ariana DeBose and Mike Faist. Today, the Producers Guild of America announced nominations in the Motion Pictures and Television categories for the 33rd Annual Producers Guild Awards to be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Fairmont Century Plaza.

Eva Noblezada (“Hadestown,” “Miss Saigon,” “Yellow Rose”) leads the cast as “Sam.' other voices in the cast include Jane Fonda, Flula Borg, Lil Rel Howery, Colin O'Donoghue, John Ratzenberger, Adelynn Spoon, and Whoopi Goldberg.

Peacock’s Bel-Air has cast Karrueche Tran, Duane Martin, April Parker Jones, SteVonté Hart, Joe Holt, Scottie Thompson, Jon Beavers, Tyler Barnhardt and Charlie Hall as recurring guest stars.   Set in modern-day America, Peacock’s new one-hour drama series Bel-Air imagines the beloved sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air through a new, dramatic take.

Today, the full list of nominees for the “53rd NAACP Image Awards” were announced. Nominees included Ariana DeBose, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Encanto, Cynthia Erivo, Audra McDonald, Respect, Taraji P. ABC has shared a new trailer for Women of the Movement, starring Adrienne Warren. The series is based on the true story of Mamie Till-Mobley, who in 1955 risked her life to find justice after her son Emmett was brutally murdered in the Jim Crow South.
