Tonight, the Broadway company of Be More Chill will celebrate an exciting step forward in the quest for diversity on stage, as four actors of Asian descent portray four principal roles in the show for the first time ever.

Today, Be More Chill announced the special guests for "The Post Show Hang," a special Wednesday evening encore series through July 31st.

BroadwayWorld is pleased to announce the winners for the 17th annual Theater Fans' Choice Awards are, by FAR, the largest fan based awards of their kind. Today, the producers of Be More Chill announced the launch of "The Post Show Hang," a special Wednesday evening post-show encore series, that will include a performance tomorrow, Wednesday, May 29, with Gaten Matarazzo("Stranger Things"). Tony Award nominee Joe Iconis will accompany an exciting lineup of actors as they each perform a song from the Tony Award-nominated score of Be More Chill. Additional actors will be announced at a later date.

To celebrate four years since the musical's world premiere and an unparalleled journey to the Lyceum Theatre on Broadway, the producers of the new musical sensation Be More Chill today announced special ticket prices available to fans for a limited time only.

GLSEN, the leading education organization focused on ensuring safe and inclusive schools for all students, honored Brendon Urie, the cast of POSE, Ace Schwarz, and the Loveless Academic Magnet Program High School, GSA Spectrum, last night, at the annual GLSEN Respect Awards – New York at Cipriani 42nd Street. The event raised $1 million dollars to create safe and LGBTQ inclusive K-12 schools.

Just last night, Manhattan Theatre Club presented its annual Spring Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street (110 East 42nd Street). This year's event honored Serino Coyne Founder and Chairman Nancy Coyne for being a tireless advocate for the arts and featured performances by the casts of many of the most acclaimed musicals on Broadway including Ain't Too Proud, Be More Chill, Beetlejuice, The Cher Show, Choir Boy, Hadestown, King Kong, Pretty Woman, and Tootsie.

With a slightly different cast and some changes to the music, it is no surprise that BE MORE CHILL's Broadway production was recorded for Ghostlight Records BE MORE CHILL (Original Broadway Cast Recording). The album is full of energy and teeters on the verge of frenetic, masterfully capturing the best and worst aspects of the upgraded Broadway production.

The 2019 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway were handed out last night to recipients in 19 categories, with one special award and three honorary awards also bestowed. The Lortel Awards were distributed in a ceremony at NYU Skirball Center hosted by Drama Desk Award-nominated writer and performer of The New One, Mike Birbiglia. The Lucille Lortel Awards are produced by the Off-Broadway League by special arrangement with the Lucille Lortel Theatre Foundation. Additional support is provided by TDF.
