On Friday, November 10th - Midtown Manhattan was met with a powerful performance by Serge Clivio and friends. Spanning genres from pop, rock, soul, jazz and even theatre - Serge Clivio once again showed that he is a force of nature when it comes to live performances. Already accustomed to his powerful vocals and expansive range, Clivio seemed more comfortable than ever performing a setlist of musical influences which he claims he 'has been putting together his entire life'.

Jessie Wagner is an in-demand touring vocalist who has shared stages with the likes of Lenny Kravitz, Chic, Duran Duran, Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul) and is the frontwoman for NYC rock/soul band Army of the Underdog. She released her critically acclaimed debut solo album 'Shoes Droppin' in 2020.

International recording artist Nicole Henry will bring in the holidays at Aaron Davis Hall on Friday, December 8, as City College Center for the Arts (CCCA) presents a special concert with the powerhouse jazz vocalist.

Throughout the music are his tales of Italian/Irish heritage, his parent's love and support, and his queer flare. The album leads with songs by icons Elton John, Dolly Parton, Liza Minnelli, Whitney Houston, Barry Manilow, and more. In addition, a mashup of the Harry Chapin classic “Cats In The Cradle” with Bannon's Pride Anthem “I Think He Knew.”

Billy Porter will serve as a guest judge on tomorrow's Whitney Houston-themed episode of Dancing With the Stars. The seven remaining couples are 'Saving All Their Love' for the ballroom floor as they dance to hit songs from one of the bestselling music artists of all time.

Excellent Show! First time as a theater reviewer that I had no criticism at all. Every aspect of the production (cast, music, costumes, set, choreography, etc.) was EXCEPTIONAL.

After many different incarnations since it first appeared as Swinging Life at L’Alhambra in 2009 and 2012, Valéry Rodriguez’s brainchild—now called Black Legends—has just begun its second 'season' in the new 13ème Art auditorium, following its sold-out run at Bobino last winter.  With a lot of new numbers added, a hip-hop medley, lively LED walls and lighting, and enhanced choreography, Black Legends fully deserves a second visit.
