Two Worlds Entertainment, LLC., a twenty first century think-tank committed to provide the community with theater based educational initiatives, has launched their fully virtual platform titled CASTED!: Virtual Courses and Coachings with Award winning Broadway artists and directors!
From Sunday October 18th to Saturday the 24th, the first-ever New Works Virtual Festival (NWVF) will stream video readings of 20 new scripts featuring the work of a diverse group of writers and all-star cast members. All proceeds will be donated to the Actors Fund.

Broadway Records announced today the release of the original Off-Broadway cast recording of Einstein's Dreams. Written by Joanne Sydney Lessner (book and lyrics) and Joshua Rosenblum (music and lyrics), the musical ran Off-Broadway last winter to much acclaim and received four Drama Desk nominations, including Outstanding Music and Lyrics.
The new musical, Māyā, with book and music by Cheeyang Ng, book and lyrics by Eric Sorrels, has debuted a music video with The Lunar Collective. The song 'Outside / Inside' features Kuhoo Verma (Lucille Lortel and Drama Desk Winner), alongside an all-Asian cast who has helped to develop the musical over the past two years.
Tune in to watch LIFT EVERY VOICE: A Celebration of our Youth in their Truth, a virtual concert on Monday June 22nd at 7pm EST, as Broadway's Babies youth from around the globe share their stories, struggles, and joys through song, dance, and spoken word in response to their experiences during the COVID shutdowns and more.
THE LOW ROAD's Gopal Divan, MEAN GIRLS' Cheech Manohar, JESSICA JONES' Aneesh Sheth and OCTET's Kuhoo Verma (WINNER Lucille Lortel Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical) will participate in a virtual reading of William Shakespeare's MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING playing Benedick, Don John, Beatrice and Ursula, respectively.

New York Theatre Barn will host a free live stream of its New Works Series on Wednesday, May 6th, 2020 at 7PM EDT, featuring excerpts from the new musicals Here and Their and Half the Sky. The 40-minute presentation will also feature the creators of the two new musicals.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, City Center cancelled the remainder of its season due to the current health crisis. One production that was cancelled, was Love Life, which was set to run March 18 - 22, starring Kate Baldwin and Brian Stokes Mitchell. However, Jack Viertel, Encores!
