In support of bringing arts education to underprivileged children in NYC and around the world, over 30 of Broadway's finest performers are donating their time and talents to the Broadway's Babies 2019 Spring Fundraising Concert on Monday March 25 at (le) Poisson Rouge, NYC. Hosted by the incomparable Natalie Joy Johnson (Kinky Boots), and produced by co-founders, Kate Pfaffl (War Horse), and Ben Houghton, the evening celebrates diversity and community through song, dance and the profound stories of the children they serve.
A private, invitation only industry reading of the new musical Mandela will be held on Thursday, March 14 and Friday, March 15, 2019. Mandela has music and lyrics by two South African composer/lyricists signed to Sony/ATV Music Publishing, Greg Dean Borowsky and Shaun Borowsky, with a book by Laiona Michelle (Little Girl Blue: The Nina Simone Musical). This reading is directed by Schele Williams (Rent, Motown: The Musical), with music direction by Alvin Hough, Jr. (Once On This Island). Fifth Estate Entertainment (Nathan Gehan/Jamison Scott) serves as general manager for the reading. The reading will be attended by Nandi Mandela, Nelson Mandela's granddaughter, on behalf of the Mandela family who have officially partnered with the show.

A music video has been released, featuring many Broadway favorites, urging people to get out and vote. Mario Lopez and Daphne Rubin-Vega lead the performers lending their voices to the song, called Enough Already.
