 Northern Stage has announced a $10,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) to support the development of the world premiere production of ‘Bov Water, playing January 25 – February 12 in the Byrne Theater at the Barrette Center for the Arts in White River Junction, Vermont, as part of Northern Stage’s 25th Anniversary Season.

A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet, the first new musical to premiere in New York after the pandemic shutdown, has been acquired by the global leader in theatrical licensing and distribution, Broadway Licensing, and is available now for professional, stock, and amateur licensing. 

City Theatre has announced the first production of their 2022/2023 season, Lynn Nottage's Clyde's directed by Monteze Freeland.

 Broadway Black presents The 2nd Annual Antonyo Awards, which honors Black theatre artists during the 2021-2022 season. The live, in-person ceremony will be held on Monday, October 10 at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem (253 West 125th Street). Awards in 29 competitive categories and five honorary categories will be presented along with performances and guest appearances.

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts welcomed actor Bryan Cranston and composer Stephen Schwartz to the evening performance of the new comedy, Windfall, on Tuesday, June 14, at 7 p.m. at Bay Street Theater.

The new comedy by Scooter Pietsch, directed by Jason Alexander, will make its East Coast premiere this week on Tuesday, May 31, and runs through June 19.

SMITH STREET STAGE has announced their production of William Shakespeare's THE COMEDY OF ERRORS, directed by Dan Hasse. THE COMEDY OF ERRORS will play June 8 - June 26 in Carroll Park (Carroll Stop off F & G). Performances begin Wednesday, June 8th and continue through Sunday, June 26. The new comedy by Scooter Pietsch, directed by Jason Alexander, will see its East Coast Premiere at Bay Street Theater with previews starting Tuesday, May 31, and Opening Night scheduled for Saturday, June 4.
