The June Bingham New Playwright Commission honors the legacy of the late artist and playwright June Bingham by providing support to a new generation of early-career women/femme and/or non-binary storytellers as they seek to create work that creates change.

The Hangar Theatre has announced the first ever Hangar Flight Test, a series of concert stagings of original musicals in development. The 2022 series will consist of two workshop productions which Hangar audiences will be among the first to experience. Live & In Color is looking for playwrights, composers, and lyricists of color and/or other underrepresented communities interested in developing their new musical.
