La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts and McCoy Rigby Entertainment will present the second show of their 2022-2023 season, the rarely produced and widely acclaimed military masterpiece A FEW GOOD MEN, written by Aaron Sorkin and directed by Casey Stangl.  

The Tony-nominated LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS has announced that its recently-concluded 2021-2022 season of shows broke its box office records for attendance, single ticket sales & overall revenue -- the most ever in its illustrious 45-year history.  

La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts & McCoy Rigby Entertainment will present Sally Struthers starring as “Frau Blücher” in the Southern California premiere of Mel Brooks’ YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN. Mel Brooks’ YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN will preview on Friday, September 16 at 8 pm & Saturday, September 17 at 2 pm (with a press opening on Saturday, September 17 at 8 pm.

From the songwriting genius behind Hamilton, Encanto, and Moana, Lin Manuel-Miranda, LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS & McCOY RIGBY ENTERTAINMENT will present his first acclaimed celebration of family and community, IN THE HEIGHTS.

MAMMA MIA! will preview on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 8 pm & Saturday, October 30 at 2 pm (with a press opening on Saturday, October 30 at 8 pm) and run through Sunday, November 21, 2021 at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Blvd in La Mirada.  

LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS & McCOY RIGBY ENTERTAINMENT opened the first show of their 2021-2022 season, the West Coast premiere of the madcap murder mystery, CLUE.

La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts and McCoy Rigby Entertainment will west coast premiere playwright Sandy Rustin’s adaptation of Jonathan Lynn’s screenplay CLUE September 24, 2021. Prolific director Casey Hushion steers a cast of Jeff Skowron, Heather Ayers, Ted Barton, Mary Birdsong, Sarah Hollis, John Shartzer, Cassie Simone, Harrison White, Rachel McLaughlan, Michael Cavinder, and James Tolbert. Had the opportunity to learn some behind-the-scenes of CLUE and other productions Casey has worked on.

Producer and multi-award-winning director and choreographer Marcus S. Daniel’s rendition has magically transformed this stage musical into a hilarious, provocative, and sometimes frighteningly heightened parody that is filled with deliciously unsavory archetypes and caricatures. 

Today, it was announced that Brian Moreland is the recipient of the Ninth Annual Broadway Global Producer of the Year Award from Broadway Global.

Music Theatre of Connecticut will welcome Jonathan Kruk's one-man performance of A Christmas Carol. The show runs one animated hour and using a treasure trove of voices to create over thirty characters, Jonathan Kruk is immediate, intimate, and imaginative.

La Mirada Theater has been closed since March, but its co-producer remains optimistic that shows will be able to go on sometime next year.
