An all new cast of celebrities hits the dance floor on ABC's Dancing with the Stars with the highly anticipated two-hour season premiere MONDAY, MARCH 9, 2009 (8:00-10:02 p.m., ET) on ABC. Season Eight introduces viewers to 13 new stars including the youngest competitor to date, an NFL legend, a computer icon, a female rapper, three music artists, and a Wildboy. Additionally press notes state, love is a battlefield, when for the first time three real life couples take the ballroom floor. Husband and wife, Ty Murray and Jewel, compete for bragging rights while newly engaged professional dancers, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff, go head-to-head. To top it off, country crooner, Chuck Wicks teams with girlfriend and two-time Dancing with the Stars champ, Julianne Hough.

So far at this evening's Emmy Awards, theater stars Jeremy Piven, Dianne Wiest, Laura Linney, Dame Eileen Atkins and Zeljko Ivanek are among the winners.

This morning, July 17th 2008 the nominations for the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards were announced by Kristin Chenoweth and Neil Patrick Harris. The awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 13th at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

Retirement Living TV previewed the 'Florence Henderson Show' on Direct TV with the official debut scheduled for Thursday January 17, 2008 at 3PM (Eastern) and 12noon (Pacific)

According to the official website for the ABC show, 'Dancing with the Stars,' over fourteen members from the cast of the film adaptation of Dreamgirls will be performing on tonight's result show at 9pm.

Lisa Rinna, who will be making her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in 'Chicago' beginning in June, will perform 'Roxie' on ABC's hit show 'Dancing With the Stars,' Tuesday, April 17.
