Tyra Banks Announced as New Host and Executive Producer of DANCING WITH THE STARS

ABC and BBC Studios' Los Angeles production arm announced today that after 28 seasons, Tom Bergeron will exit “Dancing with the Stars,” with Erin Andrews also departing. Supermodel and businesswoman Tyra Banks will be welcomed into the ballroom as the show's new host and executive producer.

AMERICA'S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS to be Inducted into NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame

ABC's longest-running prime-time entertainment show, “America's Funniest Home Videos” (AFV) will be inducted into the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Broadcasting Hall of Fame at the NAB Show Achievement in Broadcasting Dinner on Monday, April 20 at the Encore Las Vegas. Executive producer Vin Di Bona, current host Alfonso Ribeiro and former hosts Tom Bergeron and Bob Saget will accept the honor and participate in a panel discussion following the award presentation.

In celebration of “AFV”'s milestone 30-year anniversary, ABC will air “AFV: America, This is You!,” SUNDAY, DEC. 8 (8:00–9:00 p.m. EST), on ABC, following an all-new episode of “AFV.” It can also be viewed the next day on ABC.com, the ABC app and Hulu.

In celebration of “AFV”'s milestone 30-year anniversary, ABC will air “AFV: America, This is You!,” SUNDAY, DEC. 8 (8:00–9:00 p.m. EST), on ABC, following an all-new episode of “AFV.” It can also be viewed the next day on ABC.com, the ABC appand Hulu.The special retrospective will take a closer look at the history of the iconic series, including how it originated, the evolution over 30 seasons and its significant influence on pop culture, as well as how changes in technology impacted the show. Additionally, the episode will unlock some of the most memorable video clips in “AFV”'s coveted vault, revealing interviews with past contestants all grown up and how their appearancesaffected their lives. Audiences can also expect to see some familiar faces, including current host Alfonso Ribeiro and former hosts Bob Saget and Tom Bergeron, reminiscing about “AFV”'s legacy and their individual styles of hosting.

The rebirth of interest in Fred Rogers, which includes an upcoming Tom Hanks film, inspires a unique musical tribute that celebrates a special side of the man known as “America's Favorite Neighbor.” A newly recorded collection of Fred's songs, Thank You, Mister Rogers: Music & Memories, will be available wherever music is sold or streamed on October 25th.

Christie Brinkley, Karamo Brown Among the Celebrity Cast for New Season of DANCING WITH THE STARS

With a lineup of celebrities including a supermodel, a former White House press secretary, a Bachelorette, pro-athletes from the NFL and NBA, a Supreme and a TV icon to name a few, 'Dancing with the Stars' is waltzing its way into its highly anticipated upcoming 2019 season. The new celebrity cast is adding some glitzy bling to their wardrobe, breaking in their dancing shoes and readying themselves for their first dance on the ballroom floor, as the show kicks off MONDAY, SEPT. 16 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC. For the first time ever, viewers will have to tune in to the season premiere to find out with whom their favorite professional dancers are paired. This season also features the return of a loved pro, Peta Murgatroyd, and two new professional ballroom dancers. Episodes can also be viewed the next day on ABC.com, the ABC app and Hulu.

Michael Strahan, Erin Andrews to Host HIGHWIRE LIVE IN TIMES SQUARE

ABC and dick clark productions announced today that Michael Strahan, ABC's “Good Morning America” co-anchor and host of “The $100,000 Pyramid,” will host “Highwire Live in Times Square with Nik Wallenda,” along with co-host Erin Andrews. The duo will be live from New York's iconic Times Square as Nik Wallenda and his sister, Lijana, seventh-generation members of the Wallenda family circus troupe, return to the highwire for a never-before-attempted walk of approximately 1,300 feet long and 25 stories above street level.

Eight remaining couples dance to some of the biggest country music songs during "Country Night" on "Dancing with the Stars," live on MONDAY, NOV. 5 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

The nine remaining celebrities have spent the week learning all of the bloodcurdling tricks that it will take to treat the viewers to some terrifyingly fun dances, as "Halloween Night" comes to "Dancing with the Stars," live on MONDAY, OCT. 29 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

Tom Bergeron Announces Winners of Student Production Awards

Winners of the 3rd Annual competition of The National Student Production Awards were announced at Emerson College in Los Angeles, CA, today, hosted by television personality, Tom Bergeron. The Foundation of The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) presents this competition annually which includes 23 programming and craft categories honoring student productions from across the country. The event was live streamed on the Academy's social media channels and website.
