The Atlanta Opera has announced that five creative teams have been selected to participate in the second annual 96-Hour Opera Project, a composition competition and showcase that pairs composers and librettists to write ten-minute operas. Bringing their completed works to Atlanta, the teams will workshop and rehearse their productions over four days from June 9–12, with travel, housing, singers, pianists and rehearsal space provided.

Pitchfork, the most trusted voice in music, and Them, the leader in LGBTQ+ culture, today announced Night Out, a special Pride concert taking place on Saturday, June 17, from 6pm - 1am at Knockdown Center in Queens, New York.

The deluxe album includes features and remixes from fellow trailblazing artists Björk, Eartheater, Erika de Casier, Tinashe, Sevdaliza, Deto Black, Fatima Al Qadiri and Arca. The accompanying Sam Ibram-directed video captures the dynamic beauty of the human body in different states of movement and skin to skin with one another.

Shygirl shares a new rendition of her track 'Woe,' featuring visionary artist Björk. The video accompanying the song is directed by Sam Ibram with creative direction by Shygirl and sees Shygirl move through a series of montages gradually becoming more intense and hallucinatory, both visually and sonically as it progresses.

The extended edition of You Still Here, Ho ? builds on the 17 tracks originally released last July, adding Flo’s early 2023 releases “Nasty Dancer” and the “Conceited” remix featuring Lola Brooke and Maiya the Don, as a well as a brand-new remix of fan-favorite “Bed Time” featuring Monaleo and Gloss Up.

Real Cultural Sh*t follows a series of crowd-moving singles from Channel Tres including “6am,” which pairs a big Motown melody with a kiss of French Touch, and the seriously funky, 70s-infused track “Just Can’t Get Enough,” that embodies the glam and decadence of the decade. Real Cultural Sh*t debuts three brand new tracks.

JASMINE STARR-KIDD will have its world premiere on the Hertz Stage at Alliance Theatre March 1 – April 1, 2023.  Opening night is March 8, 2023.

The upcoming genre-blending project will also feature their second hit collaboration with Tinashe, “Who’s Gonna Love You Tonight”, “All Around The World” which boasts a flowing vocal from rapper / songwriter Duckwrth and  “WATER” featuring Los-Angeles based talent Bryce Vine.

The Alliance Theatre has announced the cast of its upcoming regional premiere of The Hot Wing King. Rehearsals started today.  Written by P-Valley creator, Katori Hall, the Alliance's production of The Hot Wing King marks Hall's first time directing the 2021 Pulitzer Prize-winning play for drama. Kicking off the second half of the Alliance's 2022-2023 season, The Hot Wing King will run on The Coca-Cola Stage at Alliance Theatre from February 10 – March 5, 2023.
