Gina D'Acciaro is... Famous Adjacent, based on the life and career story of Gina D'Acciaro, directed and choreographed by Robert Marra, produced by Rockwell Table & Stage. The show, a hilarious musical cabaret journey through one woman's real life stories and what it's really like to be 6 inches away from stardom, will run one night only, Wednesday June 12th, at Rockwell Table & Stage in Hollywood.

Cabaret patroness Madame Mathieu has selected Diane Phelan (School of Rock, The King and I) and Samantha Gershman (Jekyll and Hyde) as guests of honor at the June edition of Bistro Awards Critics' Pick Madame's Soiree. The show is now in its fourth hit season at The Duplex. The Broadway duo will be joined on the program by a distinguished group of emerging artists from a variety of disciplines.

New York Musical Festival Announces First Ever NYMF Artist Fellowship

The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) has announced the first ever NYMF Artist Fellowship, a two-year program that will be awarded annually to an exceptional artist of note who is changing the landscape of musical theater. The fellowship involves the presentation of a reading or concert in the first year of the fellowship and a full production in the second year.

Alex 'Goldie' Golden will be making her New York City composing debut at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre on Monday, June 3rd at 7pm. An up-and-coming composer with a BA in theatre and honors in music direction from Bucknell University, Goldie has worked with various professional companies as an established music director, most recently at Williamstown Theatre Festival.

NYC actor/writer John Burns will premiere his new show John Burns is a Sexy Beast at historic Duplex Cabaret Theatre for three performances in June 2019 in honor of WorldPride & Stonewall 50. Directed by 15-time MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs) award-winner Lennie Watts, performances will take place on Friday, June 7, Wednesday, June 26, and Saturday, June 29. All performances will begin promptly at 7pm.

The debut of Taylor Beyer, a finalist in Mama's Next Big Act 2019, will take place on Tuesday, April 23rd at 7 PM at The Duplex Cabaret Theater in NYC. Her production, and the Spoon ran away with the Spoon (affectionately called Spoons for short), is a show created for queer women by queer women. Beyer has thus gathered a team of queer female artists to write, produce, direct, and perform Spoons. The core of the show is conveyed through musical parodies, personal anecdotes and a little (lot of) glitter, of course!
