Cabaret and comedy fans, rejoice! Duplex regular Sally Ann Hall hosts an evening of musical hilarity featuring New York legends and bright new stars in one of the city's most historic venues, as part of the New York Comedy Festival.

After performances in August and October, the ladies are back for an encore of THREE TALL QUEENS, a cabaret based on the life of Lindsey Kay. But who is Lindsey?

Travis Moser, a staple of the New York City cabaret scene, has released a new, bourbon infused version of the holiday classic, 'The Christmas Song.'

A Sensible Theatre Co. will present The Sensible Cabaret - once a month, every month - Elevating Queer & Allied artists here in New York City. October will feature the wickedest witch of all, Donovan Hoffer, as he shares stories and songs of the seasons, heartbreak, and trama - all For the Love of Persephone.

OFF the TOP! with JASON KRAVITS, the solo, completely improvised musical, flies home to Birdland Theater on December 8th at 7pm.

A one-night-only concert of songs from the new musical Days of Rage will be presented on Friday, October 25th, 2019 at 7PM at Green Room 42 (570 10th Avenue) in New York City, and in New York City. From the inventive minds of two unique female writers, Days of Rage features book and music by Hyeyoung Kim, and lyrics and additional material by Shoshana Greenberg.

Celebrating two years of performances highlighting the talents of transgender, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming performers, New York City's Trans Voices Cabaret returns to The Duplex on Saturday, November 9th at 9:30pm. The show is directed by TVC creator Donnie Cianciotto, with Musical Direction by Anessa Marie. Cianciotto will also serve as the evening's emcee.

Hear the musical, SECOND STORY MAN AND THE SECRET OF SUCCESS, in concert form at the Duplex Cabaret, 61 Christopher Street, on November 18th at 7:00 PM.

Michael Longoria promoted his latest album release with an exciting production of the music from movies and TV past that he's found particularly impactful. It wasn't all tragic love songs as his original (and CD's title) song, 'Kiss me like they do in the movies' spun a hopeful sound.

CLUB CUMMING, Alan Cumming's East Village cabaret venue, presents a?oeCertified PUNK Accountanta?? Billy Anderson and a?oeDarling of Downtown Cabareta?? John C. Hume in The Wonder Bar Boys: EXposed! on Monday, November 4th at 7:30pm as part of the Club's new Monday Night Cabaret Series. After years of performing their own solo acts and selling out shows at famed venues Feinstein's/54 Below, Don't Tell Mama, and The Duplex, among others, these two cabaret veterans (and real-life EX-boyfriends) unite for the first time in a one-night-only Kiki for the Gawds to reclaim the grunge and glamour of the East Village, and celebrate the (in)famous location's own journey from the grit of the Wonder Bar and Eastern Bloc to the avant-garde realness of Club Cumming.

Joe's Pub at the Public Theater will present queer composer and vocalist Trevor Bachman in a suite of songs and poetry on Friday, October 25th, at 7 p.m.  

Art House Productions has announced the 2019-2020 cohort of its INKubator Program. INKubator is a year-long generative process for a select group of 6 playwrights in residence at Art House Productions. This year's playwrights are Kev Berry, J. Julian Christopher, Alyssa Haddad, Christopher-Rashee Stevenson, Leila Teitelman, and Colin Waitt.

After a sold-out performance in August, the ladies are back for an encore of Three Tall Queens on October 7 at 9:30 PM at The Duplex Cabaet Theatre, starring Chandilier, Lauren Ordair and Whendy Whaxwood. The show is an evening of drag storytelling based on the life of Lindsey Kay, written by Justin McDevitt and directed by Lindsey Kay and Justin McDevitt.

Brooklyn favorites Jesse Goldman and Moozika! are ready to raise the roof and kick up their heels at Dekalb Stage in Dekalb Market Hall, 445 Albee Square West, Brooklyn at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 2 with a family show to celebrate the release of the debut Moozika! album Moove to the Moozika!

The work of Amanda D'Archangelis and Sami Horneff will be featured in the third edition of Women of the Wings: A Celebration of Female Musical Theatre Writers at Feinstein's/54 Below on March 14th, 2020 at 9;30pm!

The Emerging Artists Theatre's New Work Series will kick off it's Fall 2019 season with THE CURIOUS CONTENTS OF CHRISTIE'S WASTEBASKET, a musical comedy by writer/lyricist Janine Robledo and composer Aden Kent Ramsey. Following a reading at the Two River Theater in Red Bank and a workshop production by the Berklee Theater Arts Collaborative in Boston, The Curious Contents... returns to New York City for the first time since its inception at the graduate musical theater writing program at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Robledo and Ramsey's collaborative works have been performed at The Duplex, 54 Below, The Royal Family Arts Theater, The Manhattan Movement and Arts Center, Cafe 939, and The Goodspeed Opera House.

Following last month's smash opening, ScoBar Entertainment has announced that PIANO BAR LIVE! the interactive streaming Piano Bar experience will return to The Duplex for two more shows, Sundays, September 15 and 22 at 6:30pm. Joining host extraordinaire, Michael McAssey at the keys, on September 15, will be Daniel Dunlow, Maggie Wirth, Andre Montgomery, Peter Saxe - Saxe in the City and Bianca DiSarro.
