Cabaret patroness Madame Mathieu has selected Alyssa Fox (Frozen, Wicked) and Joseph Medeiros (Three Tall Women, West Side Story) as guests of honor at the January edition of the Bistro Awards Critics' Pick Madame's Soiree. This will be the kickoff of the show's fourth season at The Duplex. The Broadway duo will be joined on the program by a distinguished group of emerging artists from a variety of disciplines.

Does the singular act of donating a kidney make you a hero? Amanda has a certificate dedicated to her heroism but she's uncomfortable with that label. On the other hand! She loves the attention being a hero provides her so she wrote a solo show about all the containers of pee she had to carry on the subway. I'm Just Kidneying takes a whimsical look into the process of living kidney donation and pokes holes into the idea of what it takes to be "hero material."

After playing Feinstein's/54 Below and The Duplex, 'Movies, Musicals, and Me: An Evening With Me, Halpert Evans' has found a temporary home. Beginning January 31st, the riotous cabaret spoof has been given a monthly slot at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Hell's Kitchen.

Jack Bartholet made peace with his inability to save the world with his new cabaret Lady with a Song, but he's still gonna try, dammit! Jack jumps from existential crisis to rage and war whilst playing a bit of dress up. Bartholet uses his creamy tenor to say bye-bye to toxic masculinity and violence in an evening of wide-ranging, heartfelt tunes. From Weimar Cabaret songs to Lizzo and takeaways from a Spotify search spiral during an isolated artist residency. For sixty minutes, call him a Lady while glitter grenades of love get launched. Developed, in part, at The Orchard Project. 1/17, 1/19 and 1/125 7 pm at Pangea.

Trevor Bachman's SHAPESHIFTERS Commemorates 50th Anniversary Of Stonewall

Bartholet covers existential crisis to rage and war-all in dress up. The smooth tenor says good bye to toxic masculinity and violence in an evening of wide-ranging numbers from Weimar Cabaret songs to Lizzo and takeaways from a Spotify search. Lady with a Song plays its last date at Pangea on Friday, January 25 at 7 pm. Developed, in part, at The Orchard Project, the show is directed by Julian Fleisher and Musically Directed by Yasuhiko Fukuoka, featuring Matilde Bernabei.

Interwoven with heartfelt personal life stories, A GENTLEMAN IN NEW YORK features songs from the musical theater cannon, the great American songbook, and top-40 pop classics-both new and old. New York City based composer/pianist Karl Hedrick serves as the Musical Director. Barrie Gelles serves as dramaturg and stage director.

Royal Family Productions (Chris Henry, Artistic Director), a Times Square based non-profit theatre company known for its innovative productions and development of new original work, has announced the complete cast for the workshop presentation of Anne of Green Gables: Part II as well as the the World Premiere of Anne of Green Gables: Part I. Doreen Montalvo (On Your Feet, In the Heights) will be portraying Anne in a workshop presentation of Anne of Green Gables: Part II (January 31 - February 10). She is joined by dancers Mindy Lai (LCT: The King and I) and Erica Misilo. Joining the previously-announced Ali Ewoldt (Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables) in Anne of Green Gables: Part I are dancers Brooke Averi, Nichole Forde, Hannah Hall, Kara Menendez, Stephanie Young, and understudy Juna Shai.
