For all my problems with GHOST: THE MUSICAL, Ghost remains an extremely compelling story. Its unusual blend of comedy, drama, horror, and romance is still striking on stage, and even though there were things I'd change, last night I texted a few friends and told them to be sure they see GHOST: THE MUSICAL while it's still at Theater West End, faults and all. I'm going to recommend the same to you...

For the last five years, the New Amsterdam Theatre has been all about magic lamps, carpet rides, princes, thieves and genies! That's because Disney's Aladdin, which opened in 2014, has played well over 2000 performances there. 

“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” airs every weeknight at 11:35 p.m. EDT and features a diverse lineup of guests that includes celebrities, athletes, musical acts, comedians and human-interest subjects, along with comedy bits and a house band.

Several of the storytellers featured are living with disabilities and share their stories.

Illusionist and Winner of Penn & Teller Fool Us, Ivan Amodei will appear at the Ohio Theatre on October 20, 2019 with his brand-new stage show SECRETS & ILLUSIONS. With the Boston Globe hailing him "Brilliant & Enthralling," Penn & Teller de­scribing it as "Gorgeous all the way through," and Hollywood Today stating, "He's the most exciting illusionist we've ever seen."

ABC (4.288 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.9, #1) pulled into the top spot on Wednesday thanks to its trio of 'Press Your Luck' (4.842 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #1), 'Card Sharks' (4.204 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #2) and 'Match Game' (3.817 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T3).

On Thursday, June 27, the Boomerang streaming service will debut Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?. New episodes will roll out weekly, with the season finale streaming Thursday, Sept. 19.

FX today announced the cast that will star in the pilot for Gone Hollywood. Set in 1980, Gone Hollywood centers on a group of talent agents who defect from an old-guard percentery to found their own, which skyrockets to industry dominance, disrupting the business and changing movies forever. The show will mix its fictional protagonists with real-life entertainment figures and events.

Josh Brolin, Miles Teller, Norbert Leo Butz, Dale Dickey, Eddie Marsan, Bailey Noble and Katheryn Winnick have joined the cast of Flag Day, directed by Sean Penn and starring his children Dylan and Hopper, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Skin of Our Teeth, the Pulitzer Prize-winning tribute to the indestructibility of the human race by Thornton Wilder, opens on the beautiful outdoor stage at Will Geer's Theatricum Botanicum on Saturday,July 13, where performances continue through Sept. 29. 

Champions of Magic, featuring five world-class illusionists, comes to Mayo Performing Arts Center for two performances on Wednesday, July 17 at 2 pm and 7 pm. Tickets for this family-friendly show are $19-$49.

Scott Mescudi , better known by his stage name Kid Cudi has joined the growing cast of the much anticipated third installment of Bill & Ted. Mescudi joins previously announced cast Alex Winter, Keanu Reeves, William Sadler, Samara Weaving and Brigette Lundy-Paine. Mescudi has a significant role, though details are being kept under wraps.

TMB presents the workshop production of a world premiere play, GOOD ENOUGH, written and performed by Ted McGrath and directed by James Barbour. GOOD ENOUGH will open on Friday, July 26 and perform through Sunday, August 25 at the Lounge Theatre, 6201 Santa Monica Blvd. in Hollywood.
