Stormy Weather, a rollicking gay farce, has been chosen to be part of Tony Award-winning Broadway Producer Ken Davenport's new RAVE Theater Festival. After hundreds of submissions only 20 plays were selected for the inaugural RAVE season and Stormy Weather was chosen to be a part of this elite collection of works.

I am a huge fan of Our Town by Thornton Wilder. It is literary genius in its storytelling of the lifespan of two families in Grovers Corners, New Hampshire It's almost as if Wilder turned Our Town upside down, shook it a few times in snowglobe fashion and created The Skin of Our Teeth. It's also a family drama but it covers more than one lifespan, as it combs a five thousand year period from the Ice Age to the 20th century in Excelsior and Atlantic City, New Jersey. The Antrobus family is bound throughout: the father (Mark Lewis), the mother (Melora Marshall) and their two children Gladys (Gabrielle Beauvais) and Henry (William Holbrook) and their maid Sabina (Willow Geer). Their lives change through time, and plotwise, there is always a crisis they are exposed to. What is mos effective to witness is how they manage to pull through each obstacle...and survive.

The Orpheum Theatre will present a special engagement of Penn & Teller on Friday, October 18, 2019.  For over 40 years Penn & Teller have defied labels-and at times physics and good taste-- by redefining the genre of magic and inventing their own very distinct niche in comedy.

ABC (3.866 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.9, #1) edged out the competition on Wednesday with its presentation of 'The 2019 ESPYs' (3.866 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #2).

Mischief Theatre, the Olivier award-winning company behind The Play That Goes Wrong, today announces the full cast for their brand-new comedy Groan Ups, performing from 20 September until 1 December 2019 at the Vaudeville Theatre.

ABC (4.955 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #1) was the top draw for the fifth consecutive Monday thanks to new episodes of 'The Bachelorette' (5.985 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #1) and 'Grand Hotel' (2.893 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T5).

Three-time Pulitzer Prize-Winner Thornton Wilder's The Skin of Our Teeth begins performances on Thursday, July 11 at The Fitzpatrick Main Stage (83 East Main Street) in Stockbridge, MA, and runs through August 3.

A group of young actors are being tested for the role of Elvis Presley in an upcoming Warner Bros. film, according to Deadline.

The masters of modern magic Penn & Teller will bring their record-breaking Las Vegas live show to Australia for the very first time in January 2020 for eight performances in the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall.

Disney Television Studios including Twentieth Century Fox Television, ABC Studios and Fox 21 Television Studios takes over the San Diego Comic-Con convention with stars and creators of 14 of its fan-favorite shows descending on the world-famous gathering next month. In addition to exclusive sneak peeks of its programs and panel discussions with the casts and creators, the studio will rotate producers and stars through the ABC and 20th Century Fox Television booths on the convention center floor for autograph signings and activities, including distribution of exclusive 2019 poster tubes, collectible mini-posters, premium giveaways and DVD sales.

For all my problems with GHOST: THE MUSICAL, Ghost remains an extremely compelling story. Its unusual blend of comedy, drama, horror, and romance is still striking on stage, and even though there were things I'd change, last night I texted a few friends and told them to be sure they see GHOST: THE MUSICAL while it's still at Theater West End, faults and all. I'm going to recommend the same to you...
