Much to my very pleasant surprise, Mr. Mosher delivered one of the most entertaining and delightful evenings that I've had the pleasure of seeing in that space since the days of Nancy LaMott.

Alyssa Sequoia presents "Can I Tell You Something?" a monthly comedy series, with its latest event scheduled for the Hudson Valley Writers Center Saturday May 4th 7:30pm. Performers on the bill that evening are award winning comics Eddie Brill, Mary Dimino and Alyssa Sequoia.

This spring the award-winning New York Neo-Futurists are pleased to welcome four new performers to their ever growing and changing roster. Over the next five months, these performers will be joining the cast of The Infinite Wrench, a mechanism that unleashes a barrage of two-minute plays for a live audience, which performs every Friday and Saturday night at 10:30pm at Kraine Theater: 85 East 4th Street (btw 2nd & 3rd Ave). The news cast members are Gregory Lakhan (April 12), Michael John Improta (May 17), Yael Haskal (June) and Michaela Farrell (August 2).

Performances for the 2019 Maine Playwrights Festival, the state's most prolific incubator for new plays by local playwrights, have been announced for April 25 through May 4 in Portland. This year's eighteenth annual festival features the world premiere performances of six new plays by Maine playwrights. Celebrity photographer Stephen Mosher's outrageous experiences come to life in story and song as he shares the adventures he and his colorful family have experienced in a raucous roller coaster ride, 'The Story Teller' playing four encore performances at Don't Tell Mama on April 19 and 22, and May 1 and 7 at 7:00 p.m.  From photographing the likes of Maggie Smith and Sarah Jessica Parker for his publication The Sweater Book to marrying the same man 8 times in the documentary film 'Married And Counting', Mosher's philosophy of devouring life takes center stage.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announces its 2019-2020 season of Performances for Young Audiences designed to inspire and engage audiences both young and young at heart. The upcoming season includes three Kennedy Center-produced world premiere stage productions, five productions hailing from The Netherlands, a Family Look-In performance of the Washington National Opera's The Magic Flute, and original Music for Young Audiences programs showcasing various musical genres, with some programs featuring musicians from the National Symphony Orchestra.
