The Cher Show cancelled its final performance in Chicago, which was set for today, July 15, due to a technical issue. The issue was announced to the audience shortly after the show was set to begin. A mini concert was performed in lieu of the full production, including 4 songs.
Musical theatre composer/lyricist, Michael Mott, will return to Feinstein's/54 Below in Michael Mott & Friends on Friday, September 7 at 9:30 pm. Mott was last seen at Feinstein's/ 54 Below with a two night sold out concert run of his original musical, In The Light.

The superstar stopped by the Oriental Theatre for three performances this past weekend to check out the show. 'Some parts of it are really fabulous. We're going to work on the other parts. It is one of the first full productions of the musical following workshops with Broadway names such as Tony nominee Laura Osnes (CINDERELLA), Margo Seibert (ROCKY) and Teal Wicks (JEKYLL & HYDE). Richard Rodgers Award finalist Lawrence Rush, who wrote the book, music and lyrics, will fly to Utah from New York City especially to participate in final rehearsals of the production.
