Kurt Elling & Charlie Hunter Release 'SuperBlue: The Iridescent Spree'

Charlie Hunter released their collaborative album SuperBlue: The Iridescent Spree via Edition Records. Featuring drummer Corey Fonville and bassist-keyboardist DJ Harrison, the full-length is a continuation of Elling’s SuperBlue collaboration with Charlie Hunter, which includes their 2021 debut full-length and their 2023 covers EP Guilty Pleasures.

Ava Earl Releases Album 'Too Much'

Rooted in lyrical rock, there are tracks that evoke the pop sounds of Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, and Gracie Abrams, while others hint at Americana artists Phoebe Bridgers, Elliott Smith, and Laura Marling. Thematically, the album takes us through Earl’s journey of early adulthood, including the concept of being “too much.”

It continues to be one of the most popular novels in British literature and its themes of patriarchy, judgment, class, and love are as relevant today as they were 200 years ago.

Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour) releases his long-awaited new solo studio album, CMF2. CMF2, Taylor’s first album for BMG and the first on his own label imprint, Decibel Cooper Recordings, was produced by Jay Ruston (Anthrax, Steel Panther, Amon Amarth), who also produced Stone Sour’s 2017 Hydrograd as well as Taylor’s solo debut release, CMFT.

Broadway at the Bass Engagement of SIX On Sale Tomorrow

Performing Arts Fort Worth, the non-profit owner and operator of Bass Performance Hall, announced today that tickets for SIX will go on sale tomorrow, September 15 at 10am. The Tony Award-Winning electrifying new musical phenomenon SIX by Tony Award winners Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss will make its Bass Hall debut in a limited engagement November 28 – December 3 as part of the 2023-2024 Broadway at the Bass Season presented by PNC Bank.
