Vineyard Theatre Artistic Directors Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern and Managing Director Suzanne Appel announced that the company will be receiving a proclamation from the Mayor’s Office on November 3 to celebrate Vineyard Theatre Day, recognizing the institution's contributions to the city of New York and its neighborhood of Union Square.

Page 73 and Working Theater have announced the cast of Bleu Beckford-Burrell’s La Race (November 21–December 23 at the McGinn/Cazale Theater at WP Theater.

Amas Musical Theatre and the Amas Musical Theatre Lab, in association with Jeremiah James and Rashad V. The design team has been announced for Vineyard Theatre's Sandra. The newly announced design team includes scenic design by Tony Award winner Rachel Hauck, costume design by Tony Award winner Linda Cho, lighting design by Thom Weaver, and sound design by Kathy Ruvuna.

Michael R. Jackson's WHITE GIRL IN DANGER will begin previews on March 15, 2023 and will officially open on April 10, 2023 at Second Stage’s Off-Broadway home, the Tony Kiser Theater. The limited 8-week run will play through Sunday, May 21, 2023.

Vineyard Theatre has announced the company’s upcoming 40th Anniversary Season which will include three world-premiere productions. The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals will take place in person in New York City for the first time since 2019 at Theatre Row on Monday, July 25th. Tickets for The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals 2022 performance will be offered exclusively through a lottery system.

The Kirk and Douglas Theatre has released a statement that all performances of 'Tambo & Bones' have been cancelled for today, May 29th. Despite robust measures being in place, a breakthrough COVID-19 case has been detected within the company of ‘Tambo & Bones.’ For the wellness and safety of our guests, cast, and crew, today’s 1:00pm and 6:30pm performances at the Douglas are cancelled.
