If you're reading this, chances are you can point to times in your life when musical theater was there for you, helping you through your lowest moments. Musicals can provide much-needed catharsis, an escape and a relatable storyline. Sometimes, musicals can also remind us of the power we hold. They help us tap into our inner strength and make us feel like we have the capacity to save the world—or burn it to the ground.

This single-camera comedy follows a widowed dad, Kenan (Kenan Thompson), who’s juggling a high-profile job as the host of an Atlanta morning show and raising his two girls. As Kenan tries to move on, his father-in-law (Don Johnson), brother (Chris Redd) and co-workers all have strong opinions on the best way to live his life.

Broadway Workshop will present a virtual production of Emma: A Pop Musical on May 15, with two performances streaming on Broadway On Demand.

The Fabulous Fox Theatre opened their stage door to welcome the 14 Finalist Acts (21 students) in the 11th Annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition produced by the Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation (FoxPACF).  Due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns, the competition Finals were filmed for a special broadcast airing on Nine PBS on Monday, May 24 at 7:00 p.m.
