FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, presents Matt Copley in Broadway Does Punk on Friday, May 27, 2022. Matt Copley is the creator and star of the viral TikTok series “Broadway Does Punk.” His popular video series features songs from The Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, The Greatest Showman, Mean Girls, Dear Evan Hansen, Hamilton, and more. 

California School of the Arts–San Gabriel Valley’s Musical Theatre Conservatory is set to debut its new performance venue with the Southern California premiere of the new musical Gavroche. There will be three performances only at CSArts–SGV Quad Stage on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, April 7, 8, and 9, at 7pm.

WRITE OUT LOUD – a nonprofit organization that celebrates the work of new musical theatre writers founded by Taylor Louderman – has announced the release of its third album on March 18th.

She was also featured at Feinstein’s/54 Below as part of the New Writers Series, where she performed, music directed, and wrote an evening of new material. Musicals can provide much-needed catharsis, an escape and a relatable storyline. Sometimes, musicals can also remind us of the power we hold. They help us tap into our inner strength and make us feel like we have the capacity to save the world—or burn it to the ground.

This single-camera comedy follows a widowed dad, Kenan (Kenan Thompson), who’s juggling a high-profile job as the host of an Atlanta morning show and raising his two girls. As Kenan tries to move on, his father-in-law (Don Johnson), brother (Chris Redd) and co-workers all have strong opinions on the best way to live his life.
