RED BULL THEATER and FIASCO THEATER have announced the cast for The Knight of the Burning Pestle at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.

The Acting Company has announced casting for their reading of Billy Strayhorn: Something to Live For, produced, by special arrangement with Steven Tabakin/Swee Pea LLC, as part of The Acting Company's annual Louanna O. Carlin & John MacDonald Reading Series. 

Transport Group has announced casting for its one-night-only performance of the Frank Capra holiday classic, It's a Wonderful Life, directed by Artistic Director Jack Cummings III, which takes place Monday, December 12, at 8pm, at The Sheen Center for Thought and Culture, 18 Bleecker Street.

GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS and TWO RIVER THEATER have announced the release of Love in Hate Nation – Original Cast Recording in a special cassette edition, scheduled for Friday, December 2.

 TheaterWorksUSA in association with The Apollo, will present an invite only staged reading of Jason Reynolds’ New York Times best-selling young adult novel Long Way Down in a compelling new musical by Dahlak Brathwaite and Khiyon Hursey, directed and choreographed by Ken-Matt Martin on November 21 at Pearl Studios.   

The Broadway's Future Songbook Series, in association with Arts and Artists of Tomorrow, will present a HOLIDAY SONGBOOK on Monday, November 28th at 6PM in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center.

Fiasco Theater will continue its Without A Net series – where shows are table-worked, thrown on their feet, and shared with an audience in only two weeks – with ten performances of Pericles by William Shakespeare from October 19-29, 2022 at Houghton Hall.

The Jesse Walker Show Comes to Broadway, is a musical evening celebrating Broadway’s best. The ONE-NIGHT ONLY special benefit concert event is set for Monday, October 24, 2022 beginning at 8:00PM at Don’t Tell Mama.

It brought a lotta joy, and today, as BroadwayWorld previously reported, Mr. Satuday Night plays its final Broadway performance. The Tony-nominated musical comedy, starring Tony and Emmy Award winner Billy Crystal, opened on Wednesday April 27th at the Nederlander Theater and has played 28 previews and 116 performances.

The Tony-nominated musical comedy, MR. SATURDAY NIGHT, starring Tony and Emmy Award winner Billy Crystal, will play through its announced on-sale date and will conclude its Broadway run on September 4, 2022.
