This month, The Studio Theatre™ Tierra del Sol (806 San Marino Drive, The Villages, FL) opens a REGIONAL PREMIER and the first production of its seventh season, In the Next Room, or the vibrator play by Sarah Ruhl.  

Broadway On Demand will present a new theatrical event, as part of its “International Theater Month” theme, including the documentary In the Company of Actors (January 9), Anna Karenina the Musical (January 16), the South Korean production of Xcalibur (January 23) and an all-male production Gilbert & Sullivan’s Pirates of Penzance (January 30).

This deliciously dark and compelling drama, Mark Rector and Mark Brown's Poe: Deep Into That Darkness Peering, is about one of America's most haunting poets, Edgar Allan Poe. Produced by Orlando Shakes in partnership with UCF, the Video on Demand virtual theater experience runs from October 22 - November 1, 2020.

Mad Cow Theatre presents The Mystery of Edwin Drood, based on Charles Dickens' unfinished novel and winner of five Tony Awards. With music, lyrics and script by the award-winning composer Rupert Holmes, The Mystery of Edwin Drood is set in a grand Victorian music hall. This hilarious interactive mystery musical tries to solve the murder of the young and charming Edwin Drood. Was it a romantic rival? The purveyor of opium and vice? The newly arrived twins from the East? Each night, the audience chooses the villain in this tuneful tale of intrigue.
