Everyone's favorite plus-sized civil rights crusader is on stage again in Columbus.

TINA – The Tina Turner Musical will close out the 24–25 BROADWAY IN BIRMINGHAM Series at the BJCC Concert Hall, June 24–29, 2025. TINA – The Tina Turner Musical was written by Tony Award nominee and Pulitzer Prize winner Katori Hall with Frank Ketelaar and Kees Prins.

Broadway In Chicago will present TINA – The Tina Turner Musical, now playing at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph Street) through June 8. Starring Meghan Dawson as Tina Turner.

The curtain rises on Tina Turner (Jayna Elise) in her iconic red leather minidress and lioness mane about to ascend a set of stairs to a stadium of eager fans. She panics, steps back down the stairs, sits cross-legged on the floor, and begins chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, a Buddhist chant invoking inner strength and transformation of suffering.

Beyond the flashy, electrifying spirit that Tina Turner brought to the 1980s music scene, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical delivers a powerful story of passion, resilience, and heart that captivates from beginning to end. Playing at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver, BC from March 25 to 30, this latest musical presented by Broadway Across Canada takes audiences on an emotional journey through the life of global music icon: Tina Turner.
