Today, Red Bull Theater announced the first public presentation of a new dramatization of Ben Jonson’s Sejanus, His Fall, adapted and directed by Nathan Winkelstein, Red Bull’s Associate Artistic Director. 

In honor of World Theatre Day, Art House Productions, along with former In the Life producers Charles Ignacio and John Catania, present Out on Stage, a virtual screening of archival clips and post-screening panel, on Sunday, March 28 from 3:00pm - 4:00pm EST via Zoom.

Participating in the “Our Town at the Playhouse” panel will be Howard Sherman, author; Anne Keefe, current Playhouse associate artist, and former associate artistic director with Joanne Woodward at the time of the Playhouse’s 2002 production of “Our Town”; and Jake Robards, who appeared in the Playhouse production. 

Most people know Jonathan for his producing skills for the hit shows, Be More Chill, 9 to 5 and Hadestown, for which he won a Tony.

BroadwayWorld has learned that online rumors about a Broadway revival of Our Town are true. Producer Scott Rudin has plans to bring Thornton Wilder's play back to Broadway for the first time since 2002. Rudin has tapped Tony winner Bartlett Sher (To Kill a Mockingbird) to direct the play, which will be led by Dustin Hoffman, who last appeared on Broadway in 1990. A timeline for the production remains unknown.

The Cecilia Chorus of New York's You Heard Them First series will present soprano Jennifer Rowley, live via Zoom, Monday, June 15 @ 7 PM. She'll lead you in her favorite vocal warmups and talk with CCNY's Maestro Mark Shapiro about her life and career. A new block of tickets has just been put on sale through September 6, 2020.
