The 2018 Brits Off-Broadway Season At 59E59 Theaters Announced!

The critically acclaimed Brits Off Broadway, host to the UK's most innovative and provocative theater in New York City, presented by 59E59 Theaters (Val Day, Artistic Director; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) returns from Wednesday, April 11 - Sunday, July 1. The single ticket prices range from $25 - $70 ($20 - $49 for 59E59 Members). Tickets to Brits Off Broadway go on sale on Tuesday, March 6 at Noon, with a special pre-sale for 59E59 Members beginning Tuesday, February 27 at Noon. Casting Announced For World Premiere Of New Musical LOCK AND KEY At VAULT Festival

This March the world premiere of a brand new musical from Barlow & Smith starring Tiffany Graves (Chicago, Sweet Charity, West End) and Evelyn Hoskins (Carrie, Southwark Playhouse, Peter and the Starcatcher, Royal & Derngate, Mrs Henderson Presents) comes to VAULT Festival for a strictly limited run directed by Adam Lenson (Superhero, Songs for a New World).

Cal State Fullerton Spring 2018 Season Opens With The British Comedy, TAKING STEPS

California State University, Fullerton begins the spring 2018 season with Alan Ayckbourn's comedy, "Taking Steps." Seasoned professional Mark Ramont directs the production, which runs February 23-March 18, 2018 in the Hallberg Theatre on campus. The comedy centers around the tale of Roland, a hard-drinking, irascible tycoon who is interested in buying an old Victorian house that was once a brothel. His wife, a frustrated dancer, constantly threatening to leave him, joins in this frenetic race up and down the dark mansion's many steps in what The Evening News called 'a farce of riotous delight."

Silk Road Rising Presents THROUGH THE ELEVATED LINE

Silk Road Rising (Chief Programming Officer Jamil Khoury and Executive Director Malik Gillani) is proud to announce the World Premiere of Through the Elevated Line, written by Novid Parsi and directed by Carin Silkaitis. The production will run from March 7th to April 15th, 2018 at Silk Road Rising located at 77 W. Washington St., Lower Level, Chicago, IL, 60602. The Press Opening is March 17 at 4:00pm.

Alan Ayckbourn's A BRIEF HISTORY OF WOMEN Heads To The Big Apple

Scarborough's Stephen Joseph Theatre company is preparing to spend a month in New York this spring. The company is taking one of last summer season's hit shows, Alan Ayckbourn's A Brief History of Women, to the city to be part of the annual Brits Off Broadway festival organised by 59e59 Theaters. The show will be seen at the theatre - which is located at 59 East 59th Street - from 1 to 27 May.

Scarborough's Stephen Joseph Theatre is heading into the new year after a 2017 which saw its most successful summer season in a decade, a sell-out autumn half-term show, and a Christmas show which saw audience figures increase by over 10% on the previous year.

Casting Announced For NIGHTFALL At The Bridge Theatre

Laurie Sansom will direct Ophelia Lovibond (Lou), Ukweli Roach (Pete) and Sion Daniel Young (Ryan) in the world premiere of Barney Norris's Nightfall running at the Bridge Theatre from 28 April 3 June 2018, with press night on 8 May 2018. Final casting will be announced shortly.

Town Hall Theatre Announces Dark Comedy WOMAN IN MIND by Alan Ayckbourn

Town Hall Theatre Generations Season 2017-2018 jumps into 2018 with Alan Ayckbourn's dark comedy, WOMAN IN MIND. WOMAN IN MIND will have 12 performances, including two previews, March 1 through March 24, 2018, at Town Hall Theatre Company, 3535 School Street, in Lafayette, CA. Full Casting Announced For Northern Broadsides National Tour of HARD TIMES By Charles Dickens

Northern Broadsides announce full casting for Deborah McAndrew's new adaptation of Charles Dickens Hard Times. Hard Times cast will feature Suzanne Ahmet (Saint George and the Dragon, National Theatre) as Sissy Jupe; Darren Kuppan (Guards at the Taj, Bush Theatre and The Tempest, Globe Theatre) as Mr Harthouse / Bitzer; Vanessa Schofield (Plastic Figures, Box of Tricks) Louisa Gradgrind; Tony Hunt (The Commitments, West End) as Steven Blackpool; Perry Moore (Cyrano, Northern Broadsides and Peter Pan in Scarlet, New Vic Theatre) as Tom Gradgrind; Howard Chadwick (Brassed Off, Oldham Coliseum) as Josiah Bounderby/Strong Man.
