Broadway Dreams will stream live content daily starting tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18 from 11 AM – 1 PM EST. Musical Theatre West (MTW) brings Jerry Herman's musical masterpiece Mame to Southern California for a three-week run at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center March 27 a?" April 12. Based on the novel, Auntie Mame by Patrick Dennis and the play Auntie Mame by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee, Mame lavishly delivers one of theater's all-time great heroines in a brassy, tuneful, hilarious and touching fashion. Broadway Dreams Founder and President, Annette Tanner has returned to her native New Zealand for the third consecutive year to provide the organization's unique brand of performing arts training to students of all ages. The weeklong intensive continues through January 18, 2020 at the Westpoint Performing Arts Complex in Western Springs Auckland, providing students strenuous professional musical theatre training with a focus on acting, vocal performance and dance taught by top Broadway professionals.

Broadway Dreams welcomed more than 70 of their top students from around the world to come together at NYC's The Angel Orensanz Foundation to perform for the industry's top professionals. The evening featured performances and work set by Broadway Dreams' faculty members including, Founder and President Annette Tanner, Matthew Scott, Spencer Liff, Nicholas Rodriguez, Christopher Hanke, Mimi Scardulla, Victor Jackson, Tyler Hanes, and Luke Hakins. Students travel from U.S. cities including Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Charlotte, and Washington D.C., and from countries including Russia, Brazil, New Zealand, and Canada.

This ground-breaking production will be directed and choreographed by Spencer Liff, with music supervision by West End's Fiz Shapur and associate direction by Xiaoyi Liu of The National Theatre of China. It will feature set, lighting, sound, and costume design by an all-Chinese creative team. The production will open in January 2020 for a limited engagement of 13 performances and a subsequent national tour, and will have dialogue in Chinese, with songs sung in English.
