With the health and safety of our community our top priority, The Broward Center has postponed or cancelled all upcoming performances, activities and events at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and Parker Playhouse for the coming weeks due to the impact of COVID-19. They continue to follow the guidance of local and state officials and remain prepared to respond to evolving circumstances. With the large number of cancelled performances at the height of our season, they are working actively with presenting partners and artist management to reschedule performances wherever possible.

The Broad Stage at Home is a destination offering new, live-streamed content from artistic partners and archival footage, highlighted by new, recurring series and content broadcast live.  Each program is archived following the live stream for on-demand viewing.

Due to the unprecedented circumstances surrounding COVID-19, James Taylor and His All-Star Band, with special guest Jackson Browne, have announced their upcoming US Tour will be postponed.  James's June 21st show at Fenway Park with Brandi Carlile and Shawn Colvin has also been postponed. We are examining various time periods for rescheduling all of these dates, which may be as soon as late summer, pending the advice of health officials. As of today there is no new information regarding James's Tanglewood concert scheduled for July 4th, there will be further announcements when we have more news to share.

Grammy-nominated and JUNO Award-winning songwriter Rose Cousins' new video “The Return (Love Comes Back)” debuts today; watch and share the new video. The video premiered on PopMatters, who wrote, “Delicately capturing the heartening feeling of receiving many returns of love and appreciation, it's an inspiring number from Cousins that sweetly communicates the importance of generosity.” Cousins' new album, Bravado, is set for release by Outside Music on February 21, and available for pre-order Bravado. 

Mary Chapin Carpenter will embark on an extensive tour this summer including a series of headline performances—including a special concert at Wolf Trap on August 22—as well as an extensive run of shows with Sugarland as part of their THERE GOES THE NEIGHBORHOOD TOUR 2020. Additionally, in April, Carpenter will resume her intimate duo shows with longtime friend and collaborator Shawn Colvin. See below for complete tour itinerary.

The McCallum Theatre will welcome folk-music legend Judy Collins, with special guest Kirsten Maxwell, at 8:00pm, Tuesday, Feb. 25.

Legendary singer-songwriter James Taylor releases his new album, American Standard on February 28TH, 2020 via Fantasy Records.

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Glimmer, Grammy-nominated Nashville-based singer/songwriter Kim Richey will release A Long Way Back: The Songs of Glimmer on CD and digital via Yep Roc Records on March 27. The album was previously a vinyl-only release.
