Artistic Director Jasson Minadakis and Producing Director Ryan Rilette announce Marin Theatre Company's 2009-2010 season, featuring five productions in its Boyer Theatre. The company's 43rd season opens September 15, 2009 with the West Coast Premiere of Chaim Potok's My Name is Asher Lev, adapted by Aaron Posner. It continues with boom by Marin native Peter Sinn Nachtrieb, followed by a National New Play Network World Premiere of Sunlight by Sharr White, and the Bay Area Premiere of Equivocation by Bill Cain. Woody Guthrie's American Song, conceived and adapted by Peter Glazer, rounds out the season.

After a critically acclaimed, sold-out run earlier this year, 'Life In A Marital Institution' (20 years of monogamy in one terrifying hour), written and performed by celebrated monologist James Braly and directed by Hal Brooks is moving Off-Broadway.

Obie winner and Tony Award nominee Reg Rogers will star in The Injured Party, a new comedy by Tony Award-winning playwright Richard Greenberg. Commissioned by SCR and directed by Trip Cullman, The Injured Party will receive its World Premiere at South Coast Repertory during the 11th annual Pacific Playwrights Festival. The show will run from April 20 through May 11, 2008 on the Julianne Argyros Stage. Low-priced previews are available from April 20 through April 24. Opening night is April 25. The 30th anniversary Humana Festival of New American Plays at Actors Theatre of Louisville, KY, featuring the work of 16 emerging and established playwrights, is slated for March 7 - April 8
