Our readers set the nominees, and now voting is open for the 2021 BroadwayWorld Connecticut Awards! The 2021 Regional Awards honor productions which had their first performance between October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021.

Mercury KX today released the original motion picture soundtrack to Spencer, the highly anticipated new film from director Pablo Larraín, starring Kristen Stewart in the lead role as the late Princess Diana. It is accompanied by a brand-new instrumental score composed by Jonny Greenwood.

Playhouse on Park offers a wide range of thought provoking, inspiring and thoroughly enjoyable productions that leave audiences often smiling, sometimes crying, and always talking about what they have just experienced.

Playhouse Theatre Group, Inc. will launch the inaugural season of the Connecticut Shakespeare Festival at Auerfarm in Bloomfield, CT. It will run from July 7 - August 22, 2021. The inaugural season theme is “Shakespeare and Sondheim.”

Are you interested in broadening your storytelling skills? The Virtual Jumpstart Playwriting Class for Adults, taught by Arlene Hutton, is for playwrights, actors, directors, designers, and anyone interested in exploring the creative process. Join in on April 8th and 15th from 7-9pm on Zoom.

ELYOT & AMANDA: ALL ALONE from Noël Coward's PRIVATE LIVES is currently streaming online. This production is part of Playhouse on Park's 12th Main Stage Season, and will now be available to stream through March 7, 2021.

Elyot and Amanda: All Alone, the brilliant adaptation of Noël Coward's Private Lives, currently available to stream at home through February 28th - has been extended by Playhouse on Park and will be available through March 7th.

Save the date and join Playhouse on Park for their annual fundraiser, ENCORE! It will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021. The theme this year is A MIDSUMMER FANTASTICAL FAIRYTALE. The event will take place outdoors at Auerfarm in Bloomfield from 6pm - 11pm. Creative Casual (practical shoes encouraged).

Playhouse on Park is giving a special Artist discount for to their current Main Stage production, ELYOT & AMANDA: ALL ALONE from Noël Coward’s PRIVATE LIVES. It is available to stream online through February 28, 2021. 

Playhouse Theatre Group, Inc received a $4931.31 grant from United Illuminating/Southern Connecticut Gas/Connecticut Natural Gas under Connecticut’s Neighborhood Assistance Act tax credit program. The funding will help to replace and expand their lighting inventory with energy efficient lighting.

Playhouse on Park is joining West Hartford Chamber of Commerce's winter series, “Stroll Your Own Way.” There will be two concerts (December 20th and 22nd) filled with holiday songs, showtunes, and more! These events are FREE and open to the public.

Join Mama D (Darlene Zoller, Playhouse on Park Co-Artistic Director) and her band for 90 minutes of music and laughter as we gather socially distanced at Auerfarm in Bloomfield, CT on Saturday, November 7. The concert will begin at 2:30pm (gates open at 2pm). Tickets are $25, and they must be purchased in advance.

Playhouse on Park has brought several events to Farmingtona??s Hill-Stead Museum including Comedy Night, a Broadway-Style Cabaret, and Playwrights on Park. They will return with an in-person dance party, led by Playhouse Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director Darlene Zoller. J
