Award Winning Songwriter Scott Alan returns to Birdland tonight, February 25. The 7pm performance features Tony Award Nominee Saycon Sengbloh (Eclipsed), Telly Leung (Aladdin), Olivier Award Winner Lesli Margherita (Matilda The Musical), Alex Hairston (Beautiful), David Burtka (Gypsy), Joshua Colley (Newsies), Matt Bloyd (NBC's The Four) and Recording Artist Morgan Reilly.

Tony Award Nominee's Hailey Kilgore (Once on This Island), Saycon Sengbloh (Eclipsed) and Jennifer Damiano (Next to Normal) are part of the lineup for Scott Alan's February 25 return to Birdland. 

Atlantic Theater Company announces casting for the world premiere production of The Secret Life of Bees, book by Lynn Nottage (Sweat), music by Tony and Grammy Award winner Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening), lyrics by Drama Desk winner Susan Birkenhead (Jelly's Last Jam), directed by Tony Award winner Sam Gold (Fun Home), and based on the best-selling novel by Sue Monk Kidd.

Bishop Arts Theatre Center (BATC) turns 25 this year while celebrating another milestone anniversary with North Texas Giving Day, the online giving event for people to generate donations for North Texas nonprofits, which is turning 10. To commemorate the occasion BATC will present Denise Lee Sings Miss Simone a special North Texas Giving Day Giving Event & Concert featuring Denise Lee accompanied by a 4-piece band.

Morgan James and Ellyn Marie Marsh present 'Gettin Peggy Wit It'! Peggy took time out of her busy schedule to check in with six green girls of Broadway past (Eden Espinosa, Caroline Bowman, Julia Murney, Saycon Sengbloh, Christine Dwyer and Lilli Cooper) to chat all things Elphaba. 

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.  This Thursday night, June 28th, Broadway Sessions will celebrate 10 years of being Broadway's favorite night out with an anniversary super show! Themed, Broadway Sessions: Greatest Hits, Broadway Sessions guests will return to recreate some of the series most memorable musical moments.
