RAINBOW SUN PRODUCTIONS will present The Howard Ashman Celebration, a special video presentation honoring the award-winning lyricist and creator.

Ring of Keys, the only national network of queer women, trans, and gender non-conforming professional artists working on and offstage in musical theatre, has announced the performer lineup for Queering the Canon.

Maggie Stiggers & Spiro Marcos, executive producers and co-founders of NikoFrank Productions will co-host The Cool Kids Table podcast at Radio Free Brooklyn. The podcast, in it's second season, was designed to celebrate kindness in the entertainment business. Each week they welcome a guest from the biz to talk openly about their personal journey to finding success, happiness, and the importance of being kind.

Following the conclusion of its strictly limited 16-week holiday engagement on Broadway, The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical will return to the road for a national touring production in the 2020-2021 season.

Broadway Records announced today the surprise release of the Deluxe Edition of the Original Cast Recording of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical as well as a Karaoke Album, now available digitally. Physical copies of the Deluxe cast album are only available at www.BroadwayRecords.com and at the Longacre Theater on Broadway, where the show is playing a strictly limited engagement that must end January 5, 2020.

Audience members who are torn between whether to see the Greek mythology monsters of Percy Jackson or the vampires and witches of Monstersongs needn't worry; much like the talented cast members mentioned above, they can be a part of both.

GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS and THE CIVILIANS have announced that the first three premiere albums of The Michael Friedman Collection, will be available for streaming and download today, Friday, October 18. The Great Immensity, The Abominables, and This Beautiful City are all written (or co-written) and directed by Steve Cosson and feature music and lyrics by Michael Friedman.

This year's New York Comic Con hosted a panel featuring cast members and creatives from The Lightning Thief! The panel, titled 'The World of Percy Jackson: From Page to Stage,' was held Thursday, October 3, at 2:45pm in the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, Room 1A06.
