BWW Review: A Vocally Powerful CHESS at Kennedy Center

While Mr. Strong definitely did not fix the book issues that have plagued the show since its inception - and dare I say it made it even worse - this production is yet another example of why the show continues to be produced. Additional Creative Team Members Announced for CHESS

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced additional creative team members for the Broadway Center Stage production of CHESS, the epic rock opera about love and political intrigue set against the backdrop of the Cold War as two superpowers attempt to manipulate an international chess championship for political ends.

Ruthie Ann Miles Joins THE KING AND I - Now Booking Through September 8

Ruthie Ann Miles will reprise her Tony Award winning and critically acclaimed Broadway role of Lady Thiang in the West End production of THE KING AND I, which opens at the London Palladium on 21 June (Press Night 3 July). She will join fellow Tony Award winner Kelli O'Hara (Anna) and Tony and Oscar nominee Ken Watanabe (The King) in the Broadway transfer of the multi award-winning production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's classic musical.
