National Philharmonic (NatPhil) presents the 2022-2023 debut of the National Philharmonic Chorale in Louis-Hector Berlioz's Requiem. The program also celebrates conductor Stan Engebretson's storied tenure as Artistic Director of the Chorale. Berlioz Requiem is being presented for one night only at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 12 at Strathmore.

If you were under the impression that the term 'Opéra Comique' meant a 'comic opera', you might be literally correct, but truthfully the joke would be on you. What does it really mean? Opéra Comique is a genre of French opera first developed in the eighteenth century.

Boston Baroque Founding Music Director Martin Pearlman was awarded the Samuel Simons Sanford Medal by the Yale School of Music on September 8, 2022. The Shark is Broken - one of the most successful plays of the 2021-22 London season - will launch the new Mirvish Theatre season in Toronto. The comedy, which received  both critical and audience acclaim when it ran at the Ambassadors Theatre in London's West End, will have its North American premiere at the historic Royal Alexandra Theatre, September 25 to November 6, 2022.

Theatre Royal Stratford East has announced the full cast for this year’s pantomime, Red Riding Hood, directed by Robert Shaw Cameron. The cast includes Elise Zavou as Red, Phil Nichol as Granny, Jodie Jacobs as Woody, Ashley Goh as Bo Peep, Raphael Bushay as Wolf and Luke Latchman as Wolfie and Kirsty Whelan as Mum.

Theatre Royal Stratford East has announced the free broadcast of this year's pantomime Red Riding Hood to local hospitals, hospices and care homes in East London and Essex. The theatre also announces its 2022/2023 pantomime will be Cinderella, with book and lyrics by award-winning writer Leo Butler and music and lyrics by Robert Hyman.

A brand new trailer has been released today for The Shark is Broken.   As previously announced the critically acclaimed production has extended its run at the Ambassadors Theatre, due to popular demand, until 13 February 2022.
