Robert Galinsky's THE BENCH, A HOMELESS LOVE STORY Kick Off Its College Tour, September 30

After its critically acclaimed run in both New York and Los Angeles, Robert Galinsky will kick off a 2022-23 College tour of his hit show The Bench beginning September 30 at 4 PM at the Dana Center (Rundlett Hill Rd, Manchester, NH 03102) Saint Anselm College as part of their annual “Fresh Check Day” - mental health promotion & suicide prevention event.

BETWEEN THE BARS Announces Community Conversations- Moderated By Robert Galinsky

Between The Bars, a new play by Lynn Clay Byrne, directed by Benjamin Viertel, opening on September 30, 2021, has announced a weekly series of Community Conversations following select performances in October.  The post-performance discussions will feature a different local organization committed to restorative justice and/or prison reform, moderated by actor, writer, and activist Robert Galinsky.

Robert Galinsky's THE BENCH Will Screen in NYC

NYC activist artist Robert Galinsky returns from Los Angeles for a one night only screening of The Bench film and brings with him the energy of Skid Row Los Angeles. The film presents a unique mash up from 'the street to the stage' and shows life on the streets through five homeless characters whose lives become forever entwined. With brutal honesty and humor, the story makes it alarmingly clear that so many of us are just one mistake away from joining this underserved and growing population.

Robert Galinsky to Host Screening of Celebrated Solo Show THE BENCH to Benefit City Kids

Robert Galinsky's celebrated solo show The Bench, has received praise in both NYC and LA with extended sold out runs over the past three years. Last year STAGE Network filmed The Bench, directed by Tyler Milliron. On Saturday, December 21 Galinsky will host a benefit screening of his film to benefit City Kids. The event will be held at The East Village Playhouse (340 East 6th Street), doors will open at 6:30 and the screening will begin at 7 PM. Robert Galinsky's THE BENCH, A Homeless Love Story Returns To NYC For One Night Only

Galinsky returns to NYC from Los Angeles after a sold-out run, for a one night only performance of his play The Bench, directed by Jay O. Sanders. He brings with him the energy of Skid Row Los Angeles in a show originally mined from the true stories of people in the New York neighborhood where he lived.  

National Monologue Slam Comes to the Eisemann Center

Eisemann Center Presents an opportunity for aspiring performers in North Texas to showcase their best monologue or song in front of a panel of industry professionals beginning with Master Classes at 9:00 am on Saturday, August 17, 2019. The folks who gave you Manhattan Monologue Slam are coming to Richardson with The National Monologue Slam, the latest creation from the minds of Philip and Robert Galinsky. The brothers have been serving the acting community since 2003 with their groundbreaking monthly competition The Manhattan Monologue Slam, an opportunity for emerging actors to perform for industry professionals every month by providing a panel of judges consisting of agents, casting directors, producers and the like, offering valuable advice and critiques of the performers. The Galinsky brothers have worked with actors that have gone on to such films as 2012, August Rush, Righteous Kill among others, and television shows such as Orange Is the New Black, The Good Wife, Nurse Jackie, Law & Order, and Late Night with Conan O'Brian among others.

Laura San Giacomo, Gary Cole, and More to Star in Benefit Reading of THE BENCH

Councilmember Paul Koretz and Joe Stern will host a star-studded benefit performance of Robert Galinsky's powerful Off Broadway solo show  The Bench as a benefit for the League of Women Voters of Los Angeles on Tuesday, July 16 at 8 pm at Los Angeles's Matrix Theatre located at 7657 Melrose Ave, 90046.
