Star of Les Misérables, Rob Houchen chats to us about his upcoming solo gig at Cadogan Hall, the first solo concert he's ever done.

The Theatre Cafe has announced that they have teamed up with West End legend Mazz Murray to release a 'stagey' cookbook, packed with food and drink from performers across the industry. The book is announced on 16 March 2021, one year since the West End went dark due to the global pandemic.

Performances of Les Miserables: The Staged Concert have been cancelled between 16 – 28 February 2021.

Moving into the Sondheim Theatre for a limited run, Les Misérables – The Staged Concert brings the barricades back to the West End.

Performances began on 5 December 2020 for Les Misérables -The Staged Concert at the Sondheim Theatre with the run - which has been extended twice - now concluding on 28 February 2021.

The Theatre Channel is back with a third episode with rock numbers from the musicals. It features Shan Ako, Alex Gaumond, Rob Houchen, Francesca Jackson, Aisha Jawando and John Owen-Jones.

Recorded live at the Gielgud Theatre last year with an all-star cast including Michael Ball as Javert, Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean, Carrie Hope Fletcher as Fantine, Matt Lucas as Thénardier, Rob Houchen as Marius, Bradley Jaden as Enjolras, Katy Secombe as Madame Thénardier, Shan Ako as Eponine and Lily Kerhoas as Cosette and an orchestra of over 65.

Today marks the release of Les Miserables – The Staged Concert: The Sensational 2020 Live Recording. In its 35th year, the musical remains as electric as ever.

Marry Me A Little, starring Celinde Schoenmaker and Rob Houchen, opened at The Barn Theatre in Cirencester on 16 October during that golden window of opportunity for socially-distanced indoor theatre performances. Unfortunately, their run was cut short by a few days due to a second national lockdown in England. Fortunately, a filmed version has now been released online.

Recorded live at the Gielgud Theatre last year with an all-star cast, the much celebrated Les Misérables score was captured in a staged concert format on CD and DVD. The DVD is now available for home audiences to enjoy but ahead of the live cast recording release, we caught up with the concert's Marius, Rob Houchen.

The Barn Theatre has announced casting for their 2020 Theatre Recovery Season productions of Marry Me A Little and Peter Pan.

Racing against pending lockdown, the cast and creatives behind Mascherato: The Musical were able to finish the concept album for this new show set in 18th century Venice. With a book by James Willett and a score by Michael Elderkin, the show follows the story of Elena (Katy Treharne) and Luca (Rob Houchen) against the backdrop of overprotective fathers and the threat of the Ottoman Empire.
