Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, The Roald Dahl Story Company and Leeds Playhouse have announced casting for The Enormous Crocodile at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, running from 17 May – 8 June 2024.

The Orpheum Theatre Group has announced that the annual Orpheum High School Musical Theatre Awards (HSMTA) will take place on Thursday, May 23 at 7pm at the Orpheum Theatre. A new featurette has been released for the horror film Abigail. In the behind-the-scenes look, In the Heights star Melissa Barrera talks about her character, who is a medic in the film. Abigail follows a group of would-be criminals who kidnap the 12-year-old ballerina daughter of a powerful underworld figure. But the captors soon discover, to their mounting horror, that they’re locked inside with no normal little girl. Watch the video here!

This May, Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical, is coming to the Royal River Community Players (RRCP) Playhouse from May 17-26, 2024. Under the direction of Janie Downey, the musical is based on Roald Dahl's beloved novel, and features a book by Dennis Kelly and original songs by Tim Minchin.

Riz Ahmed has been cast in his latest film. According to reports, the Sound of Metal actor will be appearing in the next feature from Wes Anderson. Currently in production in Berlin, this will mark the first time Ahmed will be part of an Anderson project. His previous films include Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Venom, and the 2023 animated Nimona.
