The Shakespeare Society will present Shakespeare's Fathers and Daughters, moderated by Harvard Professor Marjorie Garber, author of the acclaimed Shakespeare After All, on Monday, April 18th at The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College (68th Street between Park & Lexington Avenues) from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. Directed by Michael Sexton, Tony Award-winners Richard Easton (The Invention of Love) and Maryann Plunkett (Me and My Girl) along with Elizabeth Marvel (NYTW/Hedda Gabler) and Cherise Booth will perform scenes from several of Shakespeare's plays, including King Lear, Pericles, Much Ado About Nothing, and Romeo and Juliet.

Six fabulously successful years and 2,500 performances after it opened in London on April 6th 1999, the world's greatest hit musical MAMMA MIA! continues its record-shattering run.

For eight performances (week ending Sunday, March 6, 2005) the National Tour of MAMMA MIA! grossed a record breaking $696,369.at at The Robinson Center in Little Rock, Arkansas, topping a record previously held by the 2002 national tour of Beauty and the Beast.

The ceremony will be aired live during a one-hour special on WCBS 2 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. in New York.

MAMMA MIA!, the smash hit musical based on the songs of ABBA and currently playing in four North American companies, celebrates two worldwide landmarks this week. On Thursday, November 11th, the first Spanish language production (and 14th production of MAMMA MIA! to have opened worldwide) opens at the Lope De Vega Theatre in Madrid, Spain - marking the first time the musical will be presented in Spanish.
