Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) presents a unique networking and educational opportunity for writers: TRU's renowned Writer-Producer Speed Date on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Shetler Studios, 244 W. 54th Street, Penthouse. Submission deadline is 2/19/20. Session 1 offers coaching at 4:30PM, pitching at 5:30PM; session 2 offers coaching at 5:30PM, pitching at 6:30PM. Tickets are $75 for TRU members, $85 for non-members, $25 for each additional collaborator. Houses on the Moon Theater Company's production of THE SANTA CLOSET, written and performed by Jeffrey Solomon and directed by Joe Brancato (Daniel's Husband) and Emily Joy Weiner (The Assignment) opened earlier this week at Teatro Círculo Theater (64 East 4th Street in the East Village, NYC).  The limited engagement runs through Sunday, December 22, 2019.

Application is free, and you must apply prior to purchasing your spot, on sale February 24, 2018. Producer Jacob Langfelder along with Diego Kolankowsky (Spring Awakening), AltaNeve wines and Marie Assante hosted a New Year's to remember at a luxe, two-story loft overlooking the Central Park fireworks. Guests were entertained to the early morning by performances from Tori Scott (Time Out Top 10 Cabaret Performers), Varsity Interpretive Dance Squad and Australian recording artist Brendan Maclean (Universal Music Group, Baz Luhrman's GREAT GATSBY, and VELVET).
