Theatre for a New Audience has announced a four-week extension of Soho Rep.'s production of Jackie Sibblies Drury's Fairview, staged by Sarah Benson and choreographed by Raja Feather Kelly. The original cast has reunited for the June 2 June 30 engagement and will now continue for the extension, July 2 July 28, 2019, on the Samuel H. Scripps Mainstage at Polonsky Shakespeare Center, TFANA's state-of-the-art home in the Brooklyn Cultural District.

Michael R. Jackson's blistering, momentous new musical (and his professional debut) follows a young artist at war with a host of demons-not least of which are the punishing thoughts in his own head-in an attempt to capture and understand his own strange loop.

Washington Ensemble Theatre has announced its 2019/2020 Season, a magical lineup of plays that revels in the beauty of ritual and rite, histories and futures, and the sacred and mystic. Centered around the theme "The Divine," WET will celebrate the magnificent and transcendent forces of nature that change the way we live. The season includes the quasi-fable Is God Is by Alesha Harris, the razor-sharp preteen energy-filled play Dance Nation by Clare Barron, Raja Feather Kelly's UGLY (Black Queer Zoo), which is the second installment of its GUSH Series, and an examination of the cosmic duality of good and evil in a new collaboration with the beloved Cherdonna Shinatra, The Strange Case of Dr. Cher and Mr. Donna. Due to popular demand and critical acclaim, Ars Nova extends the world premiere of Mrs. Murray's Menagerie to May 11. Directed by Lila Neugebauer, Mrs. Murray's Menagerie opened on kicks-off Ars Nova at Greenwich House and marks The Mad Ones' first production since their critically acclaimed play Miles For Mary. The production, created by The Mad Ones and Phillip James Brannon, Brad Heberlee, Carmen M. Herlihy and January LaVoy, opened on April 8.

10 Hairy Legs, the male repertory dance company, holds its 7th consecutive New York Season with a return to New York Live Arts June 27-29. Presented are World Premieres by Larry Keigwin and Adam Barruch. Barruch's work will have a newly composed score by Roarke Menzies. Larry Keigwin is a native New Yorker and choreographer who has danced his way from the Metropolitan Opera to Broadway and back. He founded KEIGWIN + COMPANY in 2003 and as artistic director, he has led the company as it has performed at The Kennedy Center, The Joyce Theater, The Guggenheim, and New York City Center, among many other venues. Adam Barruch currently creates and performs work under the epithet of his own company, Anatomiae Occultii. In addition, he has also created works for companies such as The Limón Company, Ailey II, Keigwin + Company, Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, River North Dance Chicago, BalletX, Whim W'Him Seattle Contemporary Dance, Graham II, GroundWorks Dance Theater, Gina Gibney Dance Company and Minnesota Dance Theatre, as well as for dance icons Margie Gillis and Miki Orihara.
