Following the success of their Gatsby A Musical, filmed and streamed at Cadogan Hall, Ruby in the Dust now present Dorian A Rock Musical.  This exciting new production gives Oscar Wilde's classic an epic, modern twist with a newly composed score that sears through the action, propelled by influences from Bowie to Brecht.

Berkshire Theatre Group has announced Tony Award-winner Harriet Harris (Thoroughly Modern Millie) has joined the cast as Lady Bracknell in Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest. Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winner David Auburn will direct BTG's production.

Blue Devil Productions has announced their return to the stage in May 2021 as part of Brighton Fringe with a brand-new play, The Tragedy of Dorian Gray - a tense and compelling, yet darkly humorous reimagining of Oscar Wilde's classic tale which moves the action to the 1960s.

Stage Left was founded in 2016. It's first production was 'Exit Laughing' the show opened in May of 2016. Stage Left's first home was Ventana Lakes Yacht Club in Sun City where it performed for two years, then Stage Left also partnered with Paradise RV resort Ballroom. In 2018 Stage Left signed a lease and began construction on its current location in the Bell Mar Plaza. The first show to open in its new space was an Arizona Premiere of Steve Martin's Musical 'Bright Star' in May of 2019 Since its inception stage left has produced 41 productions both adult and kids. We have served 15000 patrons have worked with over 500 actors and crew and has performed almost 300 performances. This year's holiday show 'Tuna Christmas' will be stage left's 50th production.

During the pandemic, I have greatly missed the consistent high quality live performances from the Castle Craig Players.  I am looking forward to when they will be able to perform live, again, which I hope will be very soon.  In the meantime, I am happy to say that now, online, the Castle Craig Players have performed, recorded, and edited a production for viewing on YouTube.  IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST by Oscar Wilde is a British comedy, excellently performed by a talented cast of actors and actresses who are very consistent with their believable British accents.

Little Theatre of Virginia Beach is presenting Shakespeare in a fresh way with the world premiere of the contemporary musical, A Simple Romance, by Michael Hunsaker. The show runs weekends from May 21 through June 6, Fridays and Saturday at 8:00 pm and Sundays at 2:30 pm.
