Good morning, Broadway lovers! It’s a big news day with fresh faces, exciting sneak peeks, and some major industry updates lighting up the stage. Hadestown launched a brand-new Broadway cast (with first bow video too!), plus there are West End updates as Girls Aloud’s Nicola Roberts preps for her London debut.

All new rehearsal photos have been released of Nicola Roberts from the BRIT Award-winning pop group Girls Aloud, as she rehearses for the West End production of the multi award-winning musical Hadestown. 

International music artist Nicola Roberts from the BRIT Award-winning group Girls Aloud, will join the West End production of multi award-winning Hadestown in the role of Persephone.

Joining Billy Porter for this spectacular line up is British pop idols Girls Aloud and global superstar Mika, dancefloor and all out sensation Sophie Ellis Bextor; pop family favourites S Club, the UK's treasured singer-songwriter Gabrielle; Kevin Aviance, Björn Again, House Gospel Choir and Danny Beard with more artists and acts to be announced.

City of Angels, the Olivier Award winning production directed by Josie Rourke, is pleased to announce that award winning Hollywood actor, Theo James, best known for playing Four in Divergent, Insurgent and Allegiant, will be joining the cast as Stone and stage actor Jonathan Slinger (various roles at the RSC and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) as Buddy / Irwin.

The full cast for the London premiere of the smash hit musical ELF has been announced.  The company is led by Ben Forster as Buddy, Kimberley Walsh as Jovie, Joe McGann as Walter Hobbs and Jessica Martin as Emily Hobbs, with Jennie Dale as Deb, Mark McKerracher as Santa and Graham Lappin as Store Manager.  Also in the cast are Katie Bradley, Charlie Bull, Nicola Coates, Alex Fobbester, Anton Fosh, Charlotte Gale, Francis Haugen, Matt Holland, Tash Holway, Paul Hutton, Mark Iles, Ceili O'Connor, Debbie Paul, Joanna Rennie, Barnaby Thompson and Ed White.  Harry Collett, Ilan Galkoff, Noah Key and Ewan Rutherford will alternate the role of Michael.  BroadwayWorld has a first look at the opening night below!

According to the UK's Daily Star, Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole is set for a guest appearance on the upcoming fourth season of FOX's GLEE. While rumors of the news have been circulating for months, GLEE stars Jane Lynch and Matthew Morrison now confirm that the show's producers are very interested in making it happen.
