Comedian Nick Kroll joins the 3rd hour of TODAY to talk about his new comedy film, “Olympic Dreams,” that he filmed during the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.

Chris Chan Roberson's one man show, Magnetic Dragons, will be making its world debut at the FRIGID Festival 2020. The five-show run will start on Thursday February 20th and conclude on Saturday March 7th at the Under St Marks Theater on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.Magnetic Dragons originally started as a story that Roberson told his filmmaking students at NYU. He decided to tell a more theatrical version of the tale that he's been telling for two decades. The true story takes place in 1995 and at the time, Roberson was a film student on Summer break from college working on a film that he labels with the fictional title of Magnetic Dragons.

The Producers Guild of America (PGA) hosted the 31st Annual Producers Guild Awards on the evening of Saturday, January 18 at the Hollywood Palladium. A full list of winners is below.

A Christmas Carol, which opened on Broadway November 20, 2019, has just broken another box office record at the Lyceum Theatre. Adapted by Jack Thorne and directed by Matthew Warchus, A Christmas Carol grossed $954,054.40 over nine performances for the week ending December 29. It tops the house record previously held by Oh, Hello, the Nick Kroll and John Mulaney comedy that grossed $911,602 for the week ending January 1, 2017.

The HBO comedy series HIGH MAINTENANCE, created by Katja Blichfeld and Ben Sinclair, returns for its nine-episode fourth season FRIDAY, FEB. 7 (11:00-11:30 p.m. ET/PT). The critically acclaimed series uses The Guy (Sinclair), a marijuana dealer, to connect a variety of distinctly authentic, empathetic and insightful stories about the New York community, including his own. 

Last night was the premiere of John Mulaney & The Sack Lunch Bunch in New York City. The musical special's creator and star John Mulaney was in attendance alongside the The Sack Lunch Bunch children, guest stars David Byrne, Annaleigh Ashford, and Andre De Shields and special guests Mike Birbiglia and Nick Kroll.

The holiday masterpiece, A Christmas Carol, which opened on Broadway to rave reviews on November 20, 2019, has just broken the box office record at the Lyceum Theatre. Adapted by Jack Thorne and directed by Matthew Warchus, A Christmas Carol grossed $823,011 over eight performances for the week ending December 15. It tops the house record previously held by Oh, Hello, the Nick Kroll and John Mulaney comedy that grossed $804,513 for the week ending January 22, 2017.

Comedy Central announced today that Good Talk with Anthony Jeselnik has been renewed for an eight-episode second season. In Good Talk, Jeselnik employs his signature acerbic style in tongue-in-cheek interviews with his fellow comedians about their careers, influences and what it's like to live in his massive shadow. Jeselnik and his guests center their extremely funny conversations around career, stand up, stories and bits and participate in elegantly bizarre studio segments.

Comedy Works Entertainment presents Middleditch and Schwartz coming to Paramount Theatre for one show only on Sunday, March 8th at 7:00pm. Tickets range from $29.50 to $69.50 plus applicable fees and go on sale Friday, December 13th at 10:00am at ParamountDenver.com. US comedy star Nick Kroll, the genius behind hit Netflix series Big Mouth, will be delighting UK audiences from 17th a?" 20th December when he brings his Middle-Aged Boy tour over the pond to London's Leicester Square Theatre.

John Mulaney is an Emmy Award winning writer and comedian. He recently toured the United States with, Kid Gorgeous, which was also released as a Netflix Special in May 2018 and won the Emmy for Outstanding Writing in a Variety Special. Additionally, he has hosted SNL twice, in April 2018 and March 2019. Previously, John starred in the Broadway hit, Oh, Hello on Broadway alongside Nick Kroll. He can most recently be heard in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse which won the Golden Globe for best Animated Feature Film.

Variety reports that a sequel to the upcoming 'Addams Family' animated film has been announced. It will be released on October 22, 2021.

As just announced at New York Comic-Con, Netflix has ordered Human Resources, a workplace comedy set in the world of the monsters from Emmy nominated series Big Mouth.

Today the New York Comedy Festival (NYCF) announced the addition of more than 100 shows to the 2019 week-long laugh fest. The festival, which runs from November 4th-10th, will be taking place at some of New York City's most iconic venues, including the Beacon Theatre, Carnegie Hall, Carolines on Broadway, Madison Square Garden, Town Hall, and the Tribeca Performing Arts Center among others.
