Comedian Nick Kroll joins the 3rd hour of TODAY to talk about his new comedy film, “Olympic Dreams,” that he filmed during the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.
Chris Chan Roberson's one man show, Magnetic Dragons, will be making its world debut at the FRIGID Festival 2020. The five-show run will start on Thursday February 20th and conclude on Saturday March 7th at the Under St Marks Theater on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.Magnetic Dragons originally started as a story that Roberson told his filmmaking students at NYU. He decided to tell a more theatrical version of the tale that he's been telling for two decades. The true story takes place in 1995 and at the time, Roberson was a film student on Summer break from college working on a film that he labels with the fictional title of Magnetic Dragons.

A Christmas Carol, which opened on Broadway November 20, 2019, has just broken another box office record at the Lyceum Theatre. Adapted by Jack Thorne and directed by Matthew Warchus, A Christmas Carol grossed $954,054.40 over nine performances for the week ending December 29. It tops the house record previously held by Oh, Hello, the Nick Kroll and John Mulaney comedy that grossed $911,602 for the week ending January 1, 2017.

It tops the house record previously held by Oh, Hello, the Nick Kroll and John Mulaney comedy that grossed $804,513 for the week ending January 22, 2017.
Comedy Central announced today that Good Talk with Anthony Jeselnik has been renewed for an eight-episode second season. In Good Talk, Jeselnik employs his signature acerbic style in tongue-in-cheek interviews with his fellow comedians about their careers, influences and what it's like to live in his massive shadow. Jeselnik and his guests center their extremely funny conversations around career, stand up, stories and bits and participate in elegantly bizarre studio segments.

Today the New York Comedy Festival (NYCF) announced the addition of more than 100 shows to the 2019 week-long laugh fest. The festival, which runs from November 4th-10th, will be taking place at some of New York City's most iconic venues, including the Beacon Theatre, Carnegie Hall, Carolines on Broadway, Madison Square Garden, Town Hall, and the Tribeca Performing Arts Center among others.
