Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead is getting a major revival in Canada in the new theatre season.

Michaël Brun joins Nigerian singer and songwriter Joeboy for their new song “Game Over.” The music video, directed by XX, evokes imagery of early 90s comic book nostalgia and feels like summer personified. Michaël and Joeboy grovel for their love interests in a Romeo and Juliet style balcony scene soundtracked by the addictive beat of “Game Over.”

The band — vocalist Kiarely Taylor, bassist/vocalist Janel Duarte, guitarist Isabel Johnson, drummer Samantha Landa, and guitarist Kristen Sturgis — has shared the fifth single from the album. The band is the international five-piece band hailing from the U.S., U.K., and Canada. Watch the new music video now!

There’s been no shortage of new music from Arkells over the last few years, having released their Blink Once and Blink Twice projects, featuring collaborations with the likes of Cold War Kids, K.Flay, Tegan and Sara, Aly & AJ and Wesley Schultz of The Lumineers, ahead of the introduction to brand new album, Laundry Pile, due this fall.

The accompanying music video is set in a dystopian society of Devendra’s creation and stars Devendra alongside multidisciplinary artist Dorian Wood as well as comedians Tim Heidecker and Mitra Jouhari. Support artists for his upcoming US/EU tour were revealed earlier this week. The tour starts October 1st in Iowa City.

Bahamas, a.k.a. Afie Jurvanen, has announced a fall US tour. The tour will find the award-winning Canadian singer/songwriter/guitarist performing 32 shows in 29 days, starting on September 21st in Nashville during the 2023 AmericanaFest, following Bahamas’ debut performance at the Grand Ole Opry on September 20th.

Produced by Bob Hoag (Dear and the Headlights, The Ataris, The Format) at Flying Blanket Recording in Mesa, AZ, the songs on deathdreams range from chillingly eerie rhythms (“Stay Dead”), to '70s-styled secret agent spy theme ('Sharpshooter') to a melancholic piano ballad (“I’ll Picture You”).

'Kalk Gidelim' (remixed by the band’s percussionist Chris Bruining) is a cumbia-driven remix, inspired by Argentina's cumbia villera movement, while 'Su Sızıyor' (remixed by Bruining in tandem with Altin Gün bassist Jasper Verhulst) is a digidub-style remix with lots of King Tubby-inspired reverbs and phasers.

The Olga M. & Carlos A. Saladrigas Art Gallery at Belen Jesuit Preparatory School announces its fall exhibition in collaboration with Frascione Arte in Florence, Italy.
