Broadway newcomer Elijah Rhea Johnson will take over the role of Michael Jackson in MJ on Broadway beginning April 4, 2023. Originally from Detroit, MI, Johnson returns to MJ after helping to develop the role of “Middle Michael” throughout the workshop process.

Multiple Tony Award winning MJ the Musical will begin performances in the U.K at the Prince Edward Theatre, London from Wednesday 6 March 2024. Tickets go on sale in on Wednesday 24 May 2023.  Learn more about the production and how to purchase tickets here!

Audra McDonald and Myles Frost have joined the cast of Ava DuVernay’s upcoming film Caste: The Origins of our Discontents. The pair will join the previously announced Jasmine Cephas-Jones, Aunjanue Ellis, Niecy Nash, Vera Farmiga, Nick Offerman, Connie Nielsen, and Jon Bernthal.

Last night, the four-time Tony Award-winning musical MJ celebrated its first anniversary on Broadway. Audience members were gifted a special edition merch item, and the cast celebrated on stage with a giant MJ themed cake. Check out photos and video from the big night!

The 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony will return to the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, with current GRAMMY nominee Randy Rainbow set to co-host. MJ the Musical star and current GRAMMY nominee Myles Frost will present one of the first awards of this year's GRAMMYs during the pre-ceremony.

Attendees included 2023 GRAMMY nominees Shoshana Bean, Myles Frost, and SIX: Live On Opening Night cast members featured on the 2023 GRAMMY nominated 'Best Musical Theater Album' – Nicole Kyoung-Mi Lambert, Andrea Macasaet, Brittany Mack, Courtney Mack, Mallory Maedke, Abby Mueller, Samantha Pauly, and Anna Uzele.
