FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Mike Wartella on Tuesday, July 24th, at 9:30pm. Broadway's Mike Wartella returns to Feinstein's 54 Below to host a night of rock and roll, original music, and Broadway favorites reimagined.
THE WANDERER, written by Charles Messina, is a new musical based on the life of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame musician Dion DiMucci. The play chronicles Dion's life from his early years in The Bronx through his rise to fame and confronts Dion's struggles with his musical identity, his battle with drug addiction, his spiritual awakening and his place in Rock n' Roll history. Through a musical journey that spans decades, THE WANDERER follows the extraordinary life of an ordinary kid from New York City
The Skivvies are Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley, award-winning NYC actor/musicians doing stripped down versions of eclectic covers and comedic, genre-hopping mashups. Not only are the arrangements stripped down - cello, ukulele, glockenspiel, melodica - but the Skivvies literally strip down to their underwear to perform. Back by popular demand, the duo appeared at Feinstein's/54 Below for two shows on January 14th and 20th.
