This is the moment! The American Theatre Wing's 73rd Annual Tony Awards, hosted by James Corden, air live from Radio City Music Hall on the CBS Television Network tonight, honoring theatre professionals for distinguished achievement on Broadway.

Broadway's biggest night is just around the bend! The New York City Gay Men's Chorus(NYCGMC) commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall, presenting the New York premiere of Quiet No More: A Choral Celebration of Stonewall50, a new choral suite written by a diverse group of LGBTQ composers, including Tony nominated singer/songwriter Ann Hampton Callaway, director of Broadway Inspirational Voices Michael McElroy, writer and producer on Golden Globe -nominated TV series Pose Our Lady J, musical theater composers Julian Hornik and Mike Shaieb, and Artistic Director of One Voice Chorus Jane Ramseyer Miller. The performance will directly coincide with when the Stonewall riots began, fifty years prior.

The Tony Awards are like Christmas in June for theatre lovers, and that makes this year's nominees the reason for the season. This year's Tony nominees transported us with the magic of theatre, and we're saluting their work by taking a closer look at their extraordinary accomplishments. Today we're studying up on Michael McElroy!

More than 300 area high school students will perform on the main stage of the Music Hall at Fair Park on Thursday, May 9 as part of the 2019 Dallas Summer Musicals High School Musical Theatre Awards (HSMTA).  Winners will be named in 18 categories that recognize artistic and educational achievements of North Texas students and their high school programs.

The Tony Awards Administration Committee has announced that they will present the 2019 Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre to four outstanding contributors to the Broadway industry Broadway Inspirational Voices founded by Michael McElroy; Peter Entin, retired Vice President of Theatre Operations for the Shubert Organization; Joseph Blakely Forbes, Founder and President, Scenic Art Studios, Inc. and FDNY Engine 54, Ladder 4, Battalion 9.

PHANTOM's Eric Anthony Lopez (Currently on the Hal Prince Directed World Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA) is set to premiere his solo show 'Broadway & Beyond' at Delaware's Milton Theatre this Summer. Lopez's concert engagement comes during a 1 month hiatus as The World Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA changes countries. Charles Santoro (Andrew Lloyd Webber's SCHOOL OF ROCK on Broadway) will serve as Musical Director.

For 25 years Grammy and Tony award-nominated Michael McElroy and BIV have been lifting spirits with their music and service. This month they send out a rousing call to action filled with joy and promise, with Seize the Day from Newsies.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full cast for the world premiere of Kiss My Aztec! John Leguizamo teams up with Artistic Director Tony Taccone for this musical comedy, following their collaboration on the hit one-man show Latin History for Morons, which received its world premiere at Berkeley Rep before heading to Broadway. Leguizamo will serve as co-writer and co-lyricist only for Kiss My Aztec! - 11 other talented actors will perform in this production. Taccone will also direct.

The New York Philharmonic's annual Spring Gala will feature Tony, Grammy, and Olivier Award–winning singer and actress Patti LuPone performing songs from some of her award-winning, landmark Broadway performances. The concert, Thursday, May 16, 2019, at 7:30 p.m., will mark her first return to the New York Philharmonic after eight years. It will be conducted by Patrick Vaccariello, directed by Scott Wittman, and feature Michael McElroy and the Broadway Inspirational Voices as well as comedian / actress / singer Bridget Everett.

Lauded Broadway and recording artist Telly Leung will be bringing this cabaret show SING HAPPY for one-night-only to Vitello's March 18, 2019. SING HAPPY will include songs from Telly's various musical roles, tunes from his vocal idols, and some simply for personal significance.

The San Diego Women's Chorus ('SDWC'), San Diego's premier lesbian-identified community chorus, is proud to present a monumental 2019 spring concert performance titled 'Quiet No More: A Choral Celebration of Stonewall.' The event will feature a brand new commissioned work of the same name that honors the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in New York City by relaying the events that kickstarted the modern international LGBTQ movement. In addition to the 'Quiet No More' commission, SDWC will be performing a selection of electrifying and empowering pieces, including songs like 'You Will Be Found' from the hit Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen, and the Isley Brothers' throwback, 'Fight the Power.' This inspiring event will take place on Saturday, May 18, 7 PM and Sunday, May 19, 4 PM, 2019 at the Lincoln High School Center for Performing Arts, 4777 Imperial Avenue, San Diego, CA 92113.

Daniel Breaker (Hamilton), Arielle Jacobs (Aladdin) and Joanna A. Jones (Hamilton) will be the featured vocalists in the March 10th installment of 'Russ Kaplan's Broadway Jazz Session,' the popular series which presents In Transit composer Kaplan's innovative jazz interpretations of current Broadway favorites.

In honor of Valentine's Day, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS has released a new video from Broadway Backwards 2018! As part of the annual event that features gender-reversed versions of musical theatre numbers, Bryan Terrell Clark (Hamilton, Motown the Musical) and Michael McElroy (Sunday in the Park with George, The Who's Tommy) took on 'What About Love,' from The Color Purple. The emotional first-act finale is typically sung by the characters of Celie and Shug Avery.
