Transport Group has announced casting for its one-night-only performance of the Frank Capra holiday classic, It's a Wonderful Life, directed by Artistic Director Jack Cummings III, which takes place Monday, December 12, at 8pm, at The Sheen Center for Thought and Culture, 18 Bleecker Street.

Mr. Parker, the new play by Michael McKeever (Daniel's Husband), directed by Joe Brancato with Davi Santos, Derek Smith and Mia Matthews, enjoyed its Off Broadway premiere performance on Monday night.  Check out the photos!

BSC has announced the encore presentation of last summer’s audience favorite, Rob Ulin’s JUDGMENT DAY, directed by Matthew Penn (“Law & Order,” “Orange Is the New Black,” BSC’s Typhoid Mary, 10x10 New Play Festival) and starring Tony Award winners Jason Alexander, Patti LuPone, Santino Fontana and Grammy Award winner Michael McKean.

The cast also features Loretta Devine (Della), Josh Johnston (Doctor), Bianca LaVerne Jones (Principal), Julian Emile Lerner (Casper), Justina Machado (Tracy), Carol Mansell (Edna), Michael Mastro (Jackson) and Elizabeth Stanley (Chandra). 

A group of Broadway stars came together, virtually, to commemorate one year since Broadway shut down. The video from Thomas Ellenson features the performers singing Stephen Sondheim's 'I'm Still Here.'

Theatre actors have been largely out of work since Broadway shut down last year, and television is coming to the rescue. In an interview with Deadline, 'Law & Order: SVU' showrunner and Pulitzer Prize-nominated playwright Warren Leight said he is making the effort to hire as many Broadway actors as possible as the Coronavirus pandemic continues into 2021.

Voyage Theater Company/PARTS UNKNOWN Play Reading Series will present a staged reading of acclaimed Turkish playwright Sedef Ecer's e-smuggler.com, in a new English-language translation by Amelia Parenteau, directed by Lisa Rothe, at the 53rd Street New York Public Library (18 W 53 Street, across the street from MOMA), Thur October 18 at 7pm. The Wanderer, the new musical based on the life of Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Dion DiMucci, has found the cast for its workshop. Mike Wartella will play Dion himself, while Christy Altomare will play Dion's wife, Susan. Joey McIntyre of New Kids on the Block will play Johnny. The full cast is listed below!
