Jungle Rumble, a new family musical featuring an inspirational message about working together to protect the Earth, will run this half term from 14 to 20 February 2022 at The Fortune Theatre in London's Covent Garden.

Haydn Gwynne will make her Chichester debut in the title role of HEDDA TESMAN by Cordelia Lynn, after Henrik Ibsen. Holly Race Roughan directs this co-production with Headlong and The Lowry, running at the Minerva Theatre from 30 August - 28 September.

Celebrated for her reinterpretations of American classics, A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE, DEATH OF A SALESMAN and her award-winning production OUR TOWN, she brings a new focus to the gang culture of the iconic Sharks and Jets with new choreography from Aletta Collins and orchestration by Jason Carr. Hackney Empire today releases production images for Aladdin, its landmark 20th anniversary Christmas pantomime from writer and director Susie McKenna and composer Steven Edis. The celebratory production runs at Hackney Empire until 6 January 2019, with opening night for press taking place this evening.

As previously announced, Hackney Empire's Olivier Award-winning Grande Dame of pantomime Clive Rowe will be making his Hackney comeback in the role of Widow Twankey. Last seen in 2015, Aladdin will mark Rowe's 12th panto with the venue. There will also be a Hackney homecoming for Olivier Award nominated actress, television star and comedian Tameka Empson (EastEnders) who will return to play The Empress in her sixth Empire panto and following her last stage appearance 9 years ago.

Moonbox Productions, winner of numerous IRNE and Elliot Norton Awards, is thrilled to present William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night and Donald Margulies' Shipwrecked! The new production of Kander and Ebb's THE RINK is playing at Southwark Playhouse for a limited season from 25 May to 23 June 2018. The production stars Caroline O'Connor as Anna and Gemma Sutton as Angel, and features Stewart Clarke, Ross Dawes, Michael Lin, Elander Moore, Ben Redfern and Jason Winter as Dino, Lino, Lucky, Benny, Lenny and Tony respectively.

The year-end New Works Lab at UCSB, which challenges students to write, direct, design, and perform short plays, gives students a chance to experiment with form, style, and collaboration. This year's plays offered comedy, drama, and an excursion into the absurd, while expressing insecurities about the future on both a personal and global level.

UCSB's Department of Theater and Dance is proud to present the annual New Works Lab, a workshop production by six UCSB student playwrights. The production is split into two programs: Gold Bill and Blue Bill. Under the mentorship of Frances Ya-Chu Cowhig, Vickie J. Scott, Daniel Stein and Una Mladenovic, New Works Lab will be held May 10 through May 20 in the Studio Theater.
